Chechens if you never met any are quite calm people till you hurt them, good demands and manners and really gentle organized, they can rule them selves really perfectly without anyone responsible of them cause each one knows his responsibles.

Actually, obviously I do know a lot more than you do. And I read an awful lot. Chechnya officially tried to gain independence after the collapse of the soviet union in 1991, which is why russian pigs (sorry pigs) attacked in 1994. And lost. However, Chechen-russian conflict really began in the 16th Century when Ivan the Terrible tried to take over Chechen land. And failed. It seems YOU are the one that needs to read a lot more.

Russian soldiers attacked in 94, but becuase of numerous surrenders, russian soldiers heard on radio, "give it up, give them back thier land, its comeing from high up." they left, they didnt lose anything. i been there many times, talked with people who are lot more knowledgable than you. So agian you have more to read about. and there are some things not in books.

One of the reasons why the Soviets lost to the Afghans is because many of the soldiers became dope-heads in opium/heroin rich Afghanistan. Russia sends her younge men to fight in Chechnya and they come back with nothing except Psychological problems because of the war, they are killing stealing and kidnapping in Chechnya, but thank God there is a judgment day, and what goes around comes around.
