I love this movie,tribe of Murong from Xianbei or we called the Merong Maha Wangsa in Malaysia.This Murong is true he even has an ancient district call Yan in Kedah Malaysia,near Jerai mountain his ship stranded and curse by a monster,later appointed as King and his descendent rules Malaysia until today.Yan is a legendary kingdom of the Northern Chinese tribe.

There is another Trailer just 6 seconds longer but somehow the chinese is totally different? Especially the empresses speech seems to be another in the trailer without subtitles.

Amazing and Emotional movie.. there is a lot of symbolism.. the strange being's actions are difficult to intepret.. he swallows a part of the tree.. and so on, I wont interpret it the same way you will... so there is sth personal about interpretation.. the movie is ok. the fights and war battle scene shown in the trailer is pretty much it. there is not that much of war battle, only a 1 or 2 if i can remember. So don't be expecting too much of thousands of men going against thousands of enemy.

Not only a great medieval movie, an atmospheric fairy-tale also and a beautiful love story with the perfect simple and emotional ending. The battle scenes altough short are amazing, the set design is imaginative (the forest house looks fantastic), the action scenes are thrilling and the soundtrack is among the very best.

i finished the film and i think its brilliant:D the traning scenes of kelly and donnie are fantastic:D one thing i actually would like is to have more kelly and leon scenes.
