Also, some note on that curve that is produced... I have been researching mathematics, and what can produce that curve is a tractrix. I will message you a link :-)

one could also use limits to analyze the curve in regards to the number of tangent lines, and also, this reminds me of Riemann sums and the First Fundamental Theorem of Calculus :)
