There is truly nothing out there like these guys. If their new album is as good or somehow better the ATWW than these guys will be my favorite band hands down. I must admit that I am a bit scarred though. Too many young bands today have potential can just kill it after a masterpiece like this. Lets all wish these guys the best of luck for another beauty!

well, it's prolly because they(as many other metal bands) turn down 1 whole step and then maybe plays in the thing called "drop", where the big E string goes 1 whole step down from the other strings. I would guess they played in D and btw the guitarist is awesome, it's not easy to play all the melodic riffs. \m/

yea, i've learned some of their other songs from older albums but always loved this song. and i have tried two whole step down. although i haven't tried Drop C as you suggested.

"Doom Metal" is usually slow, heavy music. For example, Black Sabbath is considered the inventor of not only Heavy Metal, but Doom Metal as well. Take for example, the song 'Into The Void' by Black Sabbath. Its a slow, yet heavy song. This style of music is whats considered Doom Metal.

It is not a single song - it's just a medley of short clips from "Above the Weeping World" album. The clips are just blended together.

And that's what medley (in music) usually means: a mix of songs played in a row without any pause in between.

The clips in "AboveMedley" are taken from following tracks: "Change of Heart", "Last Statement" & "Drawn to Black" -played in this order. All found on AtWW album.
