If it's fix a fence, fender dents ...I've got lots of experience ..Rent gets spent ...All the letters never written, that don't get sent ...It comes from confusion, all things I left undone ...It comes from moment to moment, day to day ...The time seems to slip away
At the time of making this pictorial tribute, i admit to not thinking about using photos as a violation. It was purely meant as a combination of music and great photos to honor Lowell. There is no way of knowing who the photographer is on internet available photos. I apologize for not recognizing the authors...R.A.
This brings me way back and reminds me what an influence Lowell was. But what disturbs me with many of these compilations is the images used. I see 3 of mine on this one that the copyrights have been stipped off and used. I also see an image I know for a fact belongs to a friend and the copyright has been was been cropped.
It is great to honor Lowell and other great artists, but to use other's works and memories as your own is wrong.
one of the greatest things about music is how you carry it with you through the years. It becomes more like a photo album, you have flashbacks too other times.Little Feat and Lowell George are a snap shot of youth....and I cherish the soul of this band.X
we really lost someone special in this world....just saw little feat in st louis sunday night.....can't even imagine how good they must have been with lowell....fare thee well, wherever you are, mr george...
Bonnie said it best; "I miss Little Feat more than I miss being eight year's old". So many are touched so deeply still by Lowell. I miss him a lot. Still, Jerry must have been happy to have someone to finally play with who could actually PLAY slide.
I've got tears rolling down my cheeks as Lowell's grandson Nicholas and I watch. We've had such a tough year and hope the Hayward's are okay. Being Nicks Father and the questions that come from and about Lowell are hard but It's easier with touching memento's like this one. Thank you for all the wonderful years of support and let's keep getting this new generation involved. Lowell's legacy is beautiful and powerful, I'm honored as a son and as a musician for all that he accomplished. Thanks Luke
@lukegeorge70 I don't know the whole story, but this music and especially this song, have meant so much to me since I was 15 or 16 years old (long , long ago) . The best poetry speaks to everyone through its universality and specific humanity.
@lukegeorge70 i really dont know the special more than lowell george, is true parody of america . after him look as if there only be out of rule, it is as all the entertainer want.
I bought the album as soon as it was released. Listened to it a lot. Had a ticket to see Lowell at the Roxy. I think it was July 3rd. Went to the Lowell George Tribute show at the Inglewood Forum. Everyone sang Dixie Chicken and did high kicks for the encore.
Wow thanks George

Lowell digs down and delivers a gut-punch love song ... I'm guessing those who knew and loved him now sing this about him ... one of my favorites.
