The real reason why they get slept on, is that the black culture rather listen to dumb trashey ass rap songs. The label go by whats hot on the streets not whats lyrical and talented!
Bought the album. It continues to grow on me. This band is absolutely consistent, and if they NEVER go platinum, I have a feeling the history books will provide much greater accolades and recognition than stupid-ass pop recognition ever will.
Sorry but lots of people like me (students) who cant spend his money on buying CD. I dont stop uploading this shit because thereare somewhere brothers of mine who realy enjoy this music like me like you and not feel like hypocrit. Music is everybody and not for those who have money. I am not gonna support record companies I rather support them on show where I know that my money and my heart goes realy to them!
Thank you for the compliment on the video review. You know what...it is a little short, but not exceptionally short. I think The Roots were very focused on the theme this time around, and they eliminated anything that didn't follow. That's why "Birthday Girl" is nowhere to be found on the album.

the roots should get more recognition...
i dont understand how people listen to what they do, and are giving the lower talent groups more recognition... GO OUT AND BUY THIS CD!
