The only thing I didn't like about this speech was that if focused solely on Takemoto's feelings for Hagu and how he would remember them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the anime/manga, the final speech was about his memories of ALL of them, and how those memories of the five of them would always remain with them. I guess I felt a bit sad that friendship got sidelined by romance.
That said, I wish Takemoto's feelings were returned, because I hate seeing him sad.
@confessa yes you are correct that Takemoto's speech in the anime talk about the whole group not just hagu. also i believe Hagu care about Takemoto very much but not romantically she see him as a older brother not as a boyfriend. which is sad for me because i rooted for him to get with her. however i do love the ending of the anime because it some everything up perfectly. also i feel sorry for him that he didnt kiss her in the whole series.

If I hadn't already seen Honey and Clover I would probably be really distracted by how passionately that guy was eating the bread and honey, not to mention the fact that he just ate some clovers... Haha.
I loved this scene in the anime though, it was very touching. It will always be one of my favorite animes.

i have never seen ikuta toma play such a serious part besides in hana yori dango but I believe this is the total opposite of him from Hana Kimi as nakatsu
the ending of this series makes me kind of sad. I cried!! ;-;. It's incredible how the friendship that they had transformed each other into different persons. Although, I think that he could have had a chance with hagu chan if he were more courageous.
