@rachieboox3 I have just been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach today and the Bling was there, although apparently it was closed due to maintenance, although I agree with you, seeing how hard it is to maintain it, I wouldn' t be surprised if they stopped operating it.
This is soo cool they never use these strobes anymore :( i think for when the alluminations come on this year they should use them because they stand out and everyone will be able to see this spectacular ride :p been on this loads last year cause i had season pass and got one this year but its not even ope because the gondolas are broke :(
@bigdomrolink yeah thay had scaffolding all around it and last weekend they were testing it but it kept failing to run well im going today and i will see if it is open and tell you what there doing if it isnt open :p
Love this flat ride. UK theme parks really need to follow in the footsteps of Pleasure Beach with reguards to flats. I still can't believe this cost more than High Energy. Where is all the theme on Bling that High Energy has so much of?!
It's probably been run at a pre programmed computer control speed. The travelling model will have a lot more freedom as it's a German machine so you know they will max it out.
I think the strobes and smoke machine are still on Bling, but to be honest why they run it I don't know. It's one hell of a slow machine, and as you said in the description, it's run at an unbelievably slow speed.
