No once blackra1n is on your computer, you do not need to be connected to the internet

so when you uninstall blackra1n you dont have to reinstall it every time you turn off the ipod

No you dont have to reinstall blackrain. The only time blackra1n would be use after this point is if you own a third generation iPod Touch. You would have to run blackra1n on your computer.
