Magnum had exactly the right sound for the early 80s to the early 90s. They were unbelieveably good at times. I'm amazed that everything from On A Storyteller's Night to Goodnight L.A. didn't reach the top 5 in the UK (though Wings of Heaven did do that) and perhaps the fringes of the top 20 in the US, maybe selling a couple of million per album in the States. Those are realistic numbers and it's a pity that they didn't fully catch on for whatever reason. :-(
@azapro911 Agreed one of the best bands from that era to not make it massive. I thought they were up there with the best live and their albums were brilliant. Must get some on CD. All my vinyl is in the roof space!
@forestdad Yes.. And maybe it should have also been filmed in UK and not in Spain as it seems to be done.. ´Cos dude, the beginning of the video is pretty weird.. Cheers.
Magnum were one of the best live band's you will ever see.
I saw then at the St Albans City Hall with FM in support on the Vigilante tour and again at the same venue with Kingdom Come as support on the Wings Of Heaven tour.
Thank you Magnum for some great memories and album's.
I saw them live around that time at hammersmith and again at the astoria about 3 or 4 years ago.the first gig was good the second i literally walked out half way through because frankly i was bored what with the music and ith bob catley giving it the sign of the cross towards the end of every song!however the eleventh hour was for me their best work
That's a powerful song! I played it with my band and loved it. I'm a fan of Magnum since the mid-80s, never saw a video from the guys, thanks for uploading!
Does anyone by chance have a live version of the song "Stormy Weather" from the Sleepwalking album? If so, if you could please upload it, that's an awesome Magnum song, thanks!
magnum is the my best british band I am only 20 and I sing this song to my missis 70's-80,s were the best times when you could have mullet and start a riot without getting arrested good times.

Well, I saw Magnum before and after this song. It is a made for TOTP/please give me some airplay song, and very cheesy.
However, you should not let this one song ruin your opinion of a band, who, in my opinion have remained true to form for 30 years.
But, yes, this is not one of their better songs.
