its Corsica 2001, they changed from the group A to the wrc and it did prove to be a disaster in the WRC form. but that car is a wrc evo 1 makinen didn't even drove the wrc 02, delecour and alister mcrae did in 2002..

Yeah, it was late 01 but the car was the Lancer WRC 02. They switched over towards the end of the season and it proved to be a disaster. The Evo VI was used until Rally Finland and actually won its last race in Kenya.

Right and it was the Tour de Corse 2001 or 2002 (not sure) if I'm not mistaken.. I saw the accident on TV and my mom nor my dad couldn't believe it... Thank God Risto M. (Tommi's long-time co-driver) survived to led a somewhat normal life...
