@nigelngern you are correct, but others are dropped also, I think he is playing this song in D-A-D-G-A-D tunning. you can see on the end how he tunned it back to E using A string as a refferé, he is doing few riffs that looks like he is playing in DADGAD.

@Zebarbas Never doubted it was in drop D tunning, but look at some riffs he is doing in open D, the two bottom strings are not regularly tunned, looks like the B string is tuned a full tone down to A and the E string is in D, making it DADGAD tunning instead of regular DADGBE

As I said, you can hear him hitting a D chord (between 0:02 and 0:03) on the B and G strings as is on standard tuning, so i'm pretty confident that the B string is tuned to B. Also, the transcripts of this particular live version are online, and can be found with a simple search. So you're aganist the transcriber also, as he says DADGBE, and the fingering is very close to that of the video.

But if you think this is the 'real stuff' or the 'difinitive' for 6string, then you sir, need to do some more musical soul searching before commenting. Why don't you do a search for true musical brilliance on 6strings; here I'll help you get started: Segóvia. @1954tele I'm sorry, but where in my statement does it imply that the opinion that I shared is the ONLY opinion that matters and is the only truth? I'm simply trying to broaden someones horizon. I haven't criticized a particular genre unlike jimbo, and I certainly haven't made a statement that the classical style of guitar playing "IS THE REAL STUFF ON 6 STRINGS. PERIOD."

You could never over rate Tommy as a guitar player, he's great. But how over rated is his Maton guitar? I know it's a personal thing but the tone of a Maton is plain AWFUL!
