You have got some wrong facts in this video, the Blackberry 9900 is not autofocus as stated. RIM decided that the size is more important and decided not to include autofocus.

They are both very similar in specification. It's mainly the design which is different so it depends on which style you prefer the look of. If you nip to a Vodafone store and try using both, you will get an idea of which one you like the best. :)

They are both quite similar in features. However the 9900 is a lot thinner and lighter and has a better screen quality.

The style is different with the 9810 being a slide handset, so it's down to personal preference. If you check out our website and visit the BlackBerry section, you can see the full specifications.

@VODAFONEUK How does this phone lock and unlock? I have the Blackberry Torch and the way it unlocks drives me crazy. The unlock button at the top gets tapped all the time by accident... I'll take it out my pocket and find it has been writing paragraphs of nonsense on Facebook. Is this phone the same or does it have something else?

The lock button is on the top of the phone as it is on the Torch. If you are unsure about it, why not nip down to a Vodafone store and have a go of using one to see what you think.

@VODAFONEUK Oh :( It's not enough to make me not consider it at all but it's definitely one of the more annoying parts. My contract is up next year though so I will for sure check out the new Blackberry phones closer to the time. Blackberry's lucky they make such good phones! Or else the unlock button would have been a big turn off for me! Lol.

The battery life will depend on how you’re using the phone and what it is being used for. As everyone’s use of the phone varies it’s difficult to give an average as such.

On standby the phone will offer up to 288 hours of battery life. If you use the phone for 3G talktime the life is up to 5 hours.

Check out Jenny’s comment to @snijran below for ways to help improve battery life.

@snijran I agree, the Blackberry 9900 is a fab phone! Re: the battery life, there are some things which can be done to help improve this such as: -Turn the WIFI off when not in use -Close down apps fully once finished -Turn off Bluetooth when not in use -Reduce backlight brightness -Set the backlight Timeout to a quicker time (i.e. from 5 to 2 mins) With most batteries you’ll notice that it will get better once it has had a few full cycles and charges.
