I had this phone in 2007-2008. It was the best phone I ever had... The size was perfect and it was easy and natural to slide open. I prefer 1 handed texting so this was ideal for me. The 2 screen thing was great, I loved having touch screen options without the entire phone being touch screen. Ultimately, my new every 2 kicked in and I upgraded but I was disappointed that they didn't make a Venus 2... They make phones similar to this still, but no touch screen options.

yeah right, this phone sucks mine breaks all the time and i had to have it replaced like 5 times up until now, verizon told me they would replace my phone so im getting a chocolate touch...the venus i previously had the screen would flip upside down and it would turn blue and trip you out it would shut off and was dumb, the one before that completely fell apart.

I've had this phone for 2 years, and I actually love it despite its (serious) imperfections haha... My 147* keys don't work AT ALL, a while ago it wouldn't stop telling me that my text inbox was full (even though it was empty) (its stopped now), has deleted over half of my phone calls with my boyfriend, for some reason O.o, and you could say that the phone itself is a tad bit slow.

I would still be sad to see it go though to be honest. I will miss the simplicity of it ;3

I think whether its a good phone or not, all depends on how much you use it. I use mine very often and I've decided that this phone is horrible, and yes, i do take extremely good care of it. its just not good quality.

i've had mine for 2 years. after one year, i had my phone in my pocket (im a girl so my jeans are a little tight) i took it out and the touch screen got this internal crack so the menu disappeared. since i had it for a year i memorized it but its still annoying. the touch is always super laggy and so is the camera. the chrome finish on the side also started chipping off all around so to make it look less horrible i chipped off the rest of the chrome myself lol. it sucks. period.

Alright so I've only had one problem with this phone, because I put my messages on auto erase. When I started to text it would freeze up, so I got it replaced and now I've had no problems, other then the screen peeling (haha)

back of the phone looks like car dashboards.

touch thing gets laggy with continuous touch. its bad for apps like games, where you have to tap on the touch pad often.

also, the top part of the phone is heavier than the bottom part and all buttons are located on the very bottom. my finger gets tired really after texting.

the touch screen is only hard to use at first, you have to hit it hard enough for the phone to react. my friends try to use my phone and have problems with the touch screen but i can use it perfectly fine and its hardly ever a problem. i have had this phone about a year and a half and its a decent phone.
