They did a rerun of this on 12/27. He really sounded great on SNL. It is one of the hardest stages to perform and sound good, but he pulled it off beautifully. Much better than some of the long time pros I've heard on the SNL stage...much better than Cold Play that played a week before ( when Cook was first on SNL). The audience loved Cook!

Oh I just meant, not used to performing as much as he is right now, because he's more well-known. He did perform a lot on American Idol and I bet since then he's performed and practiced and recorded a lot more, straining his voice some. :-)

Hi. There are a couple spots where it's really hard to figure out what he is saying...it was LIVE on TV....Not the final cut of the song on the album coming out. Most everyone else who posted a video like mine says the first lines are : I'll take you just the way you are..........We won't know for sure until the album comes out ! Thanks for the comment :)
