omfg! the only thing missing about this game is the next movie, and the next and so, the stroyline, the music, the voice acting, are simply epic, so many years and is still waaaay better than most games ..... incredible 5/5
What I hated about this was the glaring continuity problem surrounding the whole fire reaver forging, since it's possible to forge the fire reaver in sr1. I mean seriously, did it just go away?
Well SR1 was technically an incomplete game. They intended for the game to be complete with more powers, bosses, and reavers. They must have completely forgot that they completed the fire reaver in the first game, or they figured that many people probably didn't even get the fire reaver.
I always thought of those as 'pre'forges. As the first games forging the reaver was always tempoary, and int he last game it became more 'periment' or perhaps its because he never got ti spirit forged unti lthe last game.
The one that was in the Stronghold was wielded by William. Mobieus made sure both Kain and William were armed with the Reaver when they fought, WIlliam's broke and was kept at the stronghold, I believe. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
The Reaver that Janos is guarding is not the Soul Reaver. It was originally called the Blood Reaver. Which drains it's victims of their blood. Kain uses it in Defiance.
However, it eventually becomes the Soul Reaver when Raziel gets absorbed into it at the end of Defiance. He barely escaped from it at the end of this game.
Aaaah, the fire shrine. For some reason, this was the fastest for me to finish. I just wanted to get back to Janos as fast as possible, so i concentrated the most in this one. Spent something between half an hour up to a full one. Not like the windshrine where i wasted like 3 hours -.-
Jk.Whell i did it because because i m lok fan and i did solve the riddles more complicated in sr1.but i had trouble with sr2 with few ridlles and forging the reavers like light reaver and fire reaver.But all u have to do its concentrate.That is a key.I know playing fall of nosgoth demo.The game is from fans lok series.But it isnt finishd.
Yep, this is really ridiculous.
First: Raziel could easily, EASILY, taken care of the Sarafan who went into the fortress.
Second: Janos could have flyed away, simple as that.

Maybe canonically Raziel didn't get the fire reaver in SR1, even though you actually have the option of doing so.
Like in Blood Omen, where you're given the choice of sacrificing yourself or remaining alive, and the series proceeds assuming Kain chose the latter.
I dunno if that's a satisfying answer, but...maybe.
