The huskies will also wear gold pants for away uniforms and I read on bob condetta's blog that an all purple uniform is in the mix for this year or next year. I am not sure if they are in fact made already though.

These look pretty generic. Nothing special. The white pants look old school stripes too big. I can't see any players or recruits getting too jacked up to wear them.

I like white on white for a lot of teams, but it doesn't work for UW.

Even if W-on-W looked good with the UW helmet, the thin purple piping on the jersey, and the FAT purple stripes on the pants stands out... in a bad way.

Don't worry Husky fans, like most teams, they'll watch tape and realize how terrible the new aways look. By the end of season 2, they'll be gone.

OMG the road pants are white? White on white? Bring back the purple road pants. I never understand why we feel we have to change our uniforms every 2 years. Look at USC or Michigan's unis, they haven't changed in decades. Terrible decision.... bring back the purple pants (and black shoes).

I'm not too crazy about the stripes ... but change may be a good thing all things considered.

The away uniforms ... the all white look doesn't appeal to me. We bleed purple & gold ... like to see more of our colors represented.

The all white makes it look like a scrimmage team uniform, but what do I know? I don't make the decisions.

If anything, hope the new uniforms and the new charged energy in the team account are a nice precursor to an exciting and NEW season.

Well, Don James introduced white to the scheme in the mid '70s when he changed the Owens unis. Prior to the Owens era, I believe they wore white pants etc. They away jerseys are always white.

I would like to see a darker purple and no more tan. I think the numbers are better, but they would look better if they weren't outlined in gold...it would make them wider and bolder... like the '91 Huskies, Oklahoma and USC uni numbers.... keep the block numbers, but don't go skinny = no gold outline!
