I remember installing the Cyberstar system in my store in 1988. I worked in the St pete Fl store. I remember haveing to change out the old reel to reel decks and install the VHS deck took a few days.
Cyberstar is actually still used in 3 stage stores today they just don't give each show a fancy intro like this anymore...OR use the curtains...the show's gotten kinda sad and cheap these days...
Haha, I feel your pain... I only got to go and see this in stores for about 3 years I wish I'd seen earlier stuff and more of these shows it was much better material in contrast to today's crap.
Nope, Cyberstar came in 1987 it just may not have been in YOUR local store yet cause it took time for it to spread around. Just like today, remodels aren't all at once...
This intro actually didn't come about until 1989 but the actual Cyberstar unit and video started in '87

If I'm not mistaken, Cyberstar is (or was) a system that allowed TV monitors at Chuck E Cheese/Showbiz Pizza to accompany the animatronics.
