I totally got the ending, but maybe a little "Ow, my eye!" type of thing could really help sell it. If that was the only talking in the entire short, then I think that would make it even more funny.
Sorry for the delay! Haha this was a lot of fun to watch. And also to think about what sort of office environment this even was. Though I like your starkness, I think that this one would have benefited from a calm, pleasant "Hi Bill." during the tension break/music break. and of course a "OH GOD MY EYE! YOU SHOT ME IN THE EYE!" while they all back away. I don't think you need a lot of voice acting to make it good, I just think that both those would play up your comedy rather than hinder it.
I don't think that adding a few words will take away from you minimalism. I think that it will really highlight those funny moments, because at the moment they're sorta undermined by a lack of strength and impact.

The class actually "voted" at the final that I should add some crying at the end. But talking is going too far.
