@keponder47 Not a dumb question at all. Like most soap couples. Particularly super ones like RYLEE. They were ripped apart and reunited a few times. By dramatic things like Ryan faking his death cause he thought he would be a monster like his dad was. Amnesia, His ex getting impregnated with his baby. Soap drama stuff. I think in this scene Ryan had saved her from a mine shaft but she still thought he was dead. ( I THINK Don't quote me on it)

@Serdrah You're half right. :) These scenes happened after Greenlee ripped Kendall's dress off in court to expose that she wasn't pregnant. The whole town hated Greenlee for awhile. Falling in the mineshaft was her redemption story. She didn't think Ryan was dead, she thought he was a figment of her imagination because before then she had been imagining him in there with her to keep her sane.
