In reality you can investigate 50 houses before you come up with any good evidence worth looking at. The evidence exists, it is out there, but nothing like what they show you on GA. @GermainQuest I like Ghost Adventures a lot. I think the provocation definitely helps them find evidence. But when Ghost Hunters catches stuff, it's great too. It just seems that with the past 2 seasons or so, they find "alright" evidence every episode, where as back in like 2004-2008, they would have some where they catch nothing and then some with INCREDIBLE evidence. It hasn't been that way lately. just feels like Ghost Adventures consistently catches great evidence.

I think Ghost Hunters has a much higher possibility that it COULD be fake, because there's so many people working on the cases/behind the scenes like camera men and audio people. Whereas Ghost Hunters is just 3 guys, who are always seen on camera. They do all the directing, all the editing, all the production. So for me, there's much less room for faking. But don't get me wrong, I love both shows. GA just seems to get more evidence.

@downfall4you I dont think it matters if GA is fake or not, they are on TV for a reason, to entertaim people and they are doing a good job in it. Same for GH, and every other paranormal reality show. Ofcourse there are some shows you dont like and some you do like its with all things on TV.

@StLouisFire While I agree that Ghost Adventures is pretty ridiculous (they're far too loud during investigations, and after seeing the voodoo ritual thing, I've never tried watching again. Too much stupid.) I don't agree that skeptics will "never have enough evidence" to prove otherwise. It's really the other way around right now, because those of us who believe in ghosts rely on unproven theoretical physics and the ideas of spirituality, while most skeptics work off of proven logic.

@GermainQuest I like Ghost Adventures a lot. I think the provocation definitely helps them find evidence. But when Ghost Hunters catches stuff, it's great too. It just seems that with the past 2 seasons or so, they find "alright" evidence every episode, where as back in like 2004-2008, they would have some where they catch nothing and then some with INCREDIBLE evidence. It hasn't been that way lately. just feels like Ghost Adventures consistently catches great evidence.

@downfall4you I feel the exact opposite. But let me elaborate. I think Ghost Hunters has a much higher possibility that it COULD be fake, because there's so many people working on the cases/behind the scenes like camera men and audio people. Whereas Ghost Hunters is just 3 guys, who are always seen on camera. They do all the directing, all the editing, all the production. So for me, there's much less room for faking. But don't get me wrong, I love both shows. GA just seems to get more evidence.

i do believe they might fake some stuff in the LIVE shows. because if they dont and nothing happens who is going to watch it? but i think the actual episodes are legit. especially since in some episodes they catch nothing.

@ThePsychoReturns I believe in the phenomena called ghosts And I also believe that these guys on this show are honest and do not fake anything BUT, that means nothing as far as proving or disproving the existence of ghosts or any other paranormal phenomena. Those of you who cite what happens on this show to argue that it proves or disproves anything paranormal are barking up the wrong tree because it does neither. These guys are honest (I believe), but what they do is NOT science.

@ThePsychoReturns Maybe, maybe not... but if you think you can determine that by watching what you see on the screen then you're no different than many people (maybe even most people) who react to what they see on the screen as if they are physically there when it takes place. The general meaning behind the saying, "A picture says a thousand words" is true but relative in that, witnessing something, in person says a million words and eyewitnesses are overwhelmingly mistaken in countless ways.
