wow MJ was such an intelligent well read person. He's totally right when he says that they separate Egypt from Africa. Egypt is this great society with an incredible history of one of the greatest civilizations that ever existed, and they portray the rest of africa as this dry impoverished land mass infested with disease and starvation. its my dream to go to Africa and see the wonders of it. Michael is right when he says the world stripped Africa of its natural resources.
I could listen to Michael's interviews all day long! He was so full of compassion and wisdom. How in the world could anyone EVER misconstrue anything he ever said. My God, his heart was GLOWING always!! Michael was one of these saints that walk the earth from time to time that are soooooo full of the LOVE of God that they feel like they'll explode at times. Michael was amazing and I miss him.
Michael it was hard to watch what the media did to you. Jealousy is ugly. You always lived on a higher plain. You always rose above the ashes and moved forward with peace, love, beauty, and a pure soul. Thank you for your example. I love you <3<3 <3
MJ was a beautiful human being. He was crowned King of a South African Country, He was the King of Pop. and he is a King in my heart, Just Charming. I wish Mj had atually Passed away in Africa, he got way more respect over there. in the US he was always Bad mouth like hell. Its too bad MJ never meet the woman of his dreams, Maybe he still would be here. God Bless him!

Thanks for posting this interview brizzy11. I have watched many MJ interviews because I love to hear about his life from his mouth and his knowledge on music is just amazing. This interview is the best, it's so comprehensive and Jesse J asks intelligent questions that people can actually learn something about Michael. There is so much i wish i could learn about his inspirations and likings but so much time was spent on utter nonsense like his sex life, skin color, etc. So big thanks to Jesse.

i ve lissened to the whole interview and its just amazing!! he really was a peaceful and loving person and i feel so ashamed for the people who accused him falsly, just because they wanted to bless him and take his money..i am so sad that he has passed away but listening to his songs, his interviews, watching his videos, reading his words and watching his photos gives me strenght to continue my life and hope that somewhen people understand that he just wanted the best for us and our world.ly mj
thank you for this really very interesting intervieuw. All what i want, listening MJ talking what he thinks, not what the presse says...Thank you very much...
thank you for the beautiful intervju. is wonderful to here the voice of our beautiful angel. we will always stand by him no matter what<3 love forever michael and forever in our hearts.
@datlilady1 It's a pack of chewing gum. If you know anything about Michael, you know he loved candy. He was often seen and heard chewing gum or hard candy. Look at This Is It when they were viewing the scenes for Earth Song, he was eating a DumDum lollipop. Which is also my favorite candy.
brizzy11, I have listened to all six parts. Thank you for uploading this interview. Jesse Jackson did an EXCELLENT job! This is the best Michael Jackson interview I have ever heard. Words can't even express how much I miss Michael. Wow!
He never ceases to feel me with such pride whenever talking about his inspiration from black culture and history & so much. But it feels me with such anger is that the media never publicize it, !! It really angers me but i will always and forever and always have defended him whenever people say false things about him.
Michael i love you so much, always and forever <3
They were so jealous of MJ/AFRICA, this is so sad, they killed him. MJ knew what was going on/wanted to reach out to do something about it, internationally, he saw it first hand, LOVED AFRICA, he jumped on the plane and vacationed there, MOST beautiful places on the earth, SUGAR BEACHES???? Why haven't we seen this in America????? Keep the legacy ALIVE for MJ. FANS....everybody, HE LOVED US!!!!
God damn I love this man! Such a gentle, wise, sensitive and exceptionally perceptive genius he is. A true Angel of culture basically. We love you and miss you too Michael...very much. And we wont let ANY haters or bigots/evil conspirators EVER get you down! But you know that, don't you ; )
I am afraid that if I knew 5 years ago what I know about him now, and also listening to these interviews.... I think I would have stalked the gorgeous man - LOL. Nothing better than a sexy, intelligent, gorgeous man ... that's what MJ was. WOW
I'm not going to lie, but I was so in love with MJ back in the Thriller, Bad days, Even dated a guy that looked like him in the 80's. Then I started listening to Rock & Roll, but ever since his death. I've come to love him all over again, and can't stop listening to him.
@MJINMYHRT there's nothing wrong with exploring other genres. MJ also studied all types of music, which made him the legend he is....but glad you came back.
He wanted to sing about the Tsaunami in the small areas not talked about, huge natural disaster area, 2 million, 4 million of people losing their lives? MJ loved Africa.....vacations there......
@warmandgifted he also wanted to do a project when Katrina hit. none of his colleagues wanted to participate with him - this was after the trial. even quincy jones turned his back. it is funny how when MJ died, that all of a sudden MJ was like a little brother.....wow! i am confused.
I love Michael. He is right Africa is beautiful. I'm from West Africa. You cannot believe the amount of ignorance I have encountered from people. Yes MJ, they always try to separate Egypt from Africa. You see haters the man loved his race and his heritage. So haters stop with that nonsense he is trying to be white. MJ was beyond race (which we all should be) but he never forgot where he came from. We Africans have always loved you MJ and will continue to love you. You're my hero. I miss you!!
@nutothis1 I totally agree! MJ's intelligents is part of why I love the man. He was all about reading and learning....I'm the same way! Today, not many people in this world are interested in reading and learning. Growing up my mother always had books around. I learned a lot about other cultures and issues in the world through books not the internet. I think is a waste when people don't use their brain. MJ was very intelligent more than some people give him credit for.
Michael knew his history. This is so great to here him talk like this. I understand that MJ was a avid reader with over 10,000 books in his library that he actually read. One of his favorite books was, "The Destruction of Black Civilization" by Chancellor Williams. We still have a lot to learn about the true depth of Michael Jackson.
Wow. What a great interview. I think probably one of the best out there. Michael so strong, passionate. My respect and love for him grow more each day. Thanks to Jesse for giving Michael a platform during this horribly difficult time for him.
Joe Jackson set the foundation for MJ being world renowned today. Some fathers have done worst to their children even to the point of killing them. I don't think his punishment was that bad. What I do believe is this,he was a very delicate and sensitive child & it affected him emotionally worse than the others.Every child is different.Don't villify & strip Joe of his fatherhood. His talents, abilities & skills contributed greatly to his sons's success & popularity that we the world over bask in.
I agree. but Joe the person is still an ass...unfortunately he isnt that smart to realise how he made his children feel cause I'm sure MJ wasnt the only one. None the less God loves him
I MISS OUR GREAT MICHAEL JACKSON and hate hate Joe jackson for beating him so damn cruel,he even kicked his(private area) and call him sissy..just bec.he doesnt want to sing and wants to play for sometime.
i forgot, since months since i first found that article, its from transcript court trial i guess,i'll try to look for it again, but im warning you to not pass that news cos theres a lot of sensitivity in that article and also the reason many didnt know about it.idk if still existed.
I hope that he knew that "we" (yes i'm AfricanAmerican :) ) were extremely proud of him! No matter how the media made it look, his record companies, whoever was in his ear, we were proud of the brother. A lot things wouldn't be the way they are now if Michael Jackson didn't change the game!
God Bless You MJ and I love you more from the bottom of heart!!!!!!! I pray for you MJ, that God watches over your sweet spirit, your kids, and family all the time. I just miss you sooo much that it breaks my heart, I love you more and you're are a true gift from God!!!!!!! Long Live The King, Forever Michael!!!!!!!; )
History tells us everywhere the 'white' man goes he leaves a path of death and destruction. The tribals wars in Africa. How did they start? Apartheid- S Africa. Slavery- America & W.I. Economic embargoes. Government overthrows. Caribs/Arawaks annihilation. Iraq. How did the mulatto race start?Slavery, raping of black women. Black people's sweat and blood built America,Eng, France, Spain..Until to this day they're using black people to make them rich. Africa, W.I, America all over. Music- ask MJ.
@honeytulipsa, please please dont think all white people r horrible people who want to kill everyone and make them their slaves. and whites did help build america into what it is today. and loved this interview, its not fair no one has really heard it =(
The more I learn about MJ,the more awesome my respect for him.I just LOVE this guy so much. Since all this hogwash in the racist media about MJ,I'm very sceptical about their reports and I know there're many out there who feel the same way. I will not buy into their despicable lies any more. If they say run, I'll walk. Just wait, their turn will surely come.I hope they'll be able to stand. MJ exudes mental tenacity, such overwhelming strength no wonder he's referred to as a phenomenon.
AMEN TO ALL THESE COMMENTS... God Bless MJ..............He is in Heaven as the HIGHEST SUPREME BEING that he is... He is happy now and can continue to bless us and guide us through the spirit if we listen and call on him......GOD BLESS US ALL........to live like he did to be sweeter and give people the Bennefit Of Doubt always first..............with ~LOVE~ .........in UTAH
This interview should have been on tv for all those who still belives he was guilty!! Amazing that this have SO few hits on youtube compered to "living with MJ" by Bashir....but I guess this is human nature to belive the worst instead of giving people the benefit of doubt..(.I plead the fifth)!!!!
It is sad indeed, but we don't know the time that the Lord will decide of our passing. That's the big mystery of life, and is what makes it so precious.
If you look around, this was Michael's final gift to us, togetherness in love and peace. Even if it was only for a brief moment. It is very beautiful that so many people of all walks of life can unite in good intent for the sake of mankind and nature. I could go on, but you get the picture. I'm so glad I'm here to see this.
Everybody in America should be proud of Michael Jackson, he was an absolute rare & irreplaceable treasure. While he is suffering through this trial, he is still thinking of the pain of others. There will never be another like him, & there never has been another like him.
Thank you! This is very true. And everytime I say "he was proud to be black and did a lot for black people and for Africa" people say "what did he ever do for black people or Africa? he hated being black." And I never have ANY problems showing them EXACTLY how much he loved, genuinely loved, his black/African heritage. He loved white people, just as he did all people, but he never wanted to be one.
Africa is the richest continent on the earth when it comes to natural resources: oil, gold, diamonds, etc. I have never had the chance to go, but I hope that one day I will.
Thanks so much for post this interview. Yes Michael in his own word hes completely INNOCENT & its proven in court after DA presented 10000 pieces of evidence & 135 witness. MJ had been cleared of all 10 courts of false charges. Therefore if any person still abursing MJ's reputation, they should be sued for defamation. MJ haters NO NEED to like MJ, but NO ONE is ALLOWED to acurse MJ & label him as a child molester / pedo OR they should be SUED for misrepresentation/defamation. Justice for MJ
i'm Glad that MJ was aware of the truth about Africa,,that it is not as it is shown in movies distorting its image ,,,and some countries are jealous from it ,he was So open minded ,honest,,intelligent person.absolutely he was a genius...also i hope if he could visit my country Egypt ,,,,if i could i have the chance to Thank him for EVERYTHING..
He was sooo intelligent... I really learn from him, from his speeches, interviews, from his soul and heart. Thank you, Michael. You are the most beautiful creature to me.
@brizzy11 thank you so much for uploading... great interview, love it. i really want to thank everyone here on youtube giving their time to load such wonderful things, thank you. I´m from Germany and I am so thankful to get the chance to listen to so many interviews. Thanks again. L.O.V.E.
thanks so much for posting this interview. MJ really seemed calmed and hanling things well considering what he was going through at that time. I wish MJ had never gotten locked up with AEG
I remember when my aunt said she'd go to south africa for work, she had to go for three months.. Cape Town.. I thought to myself: Africa, come on, there s nothing there but dessers. GREAT was my surprise when she returned, stating that she'd been in the most BEAUTIFUL place on earth and had the best time ever! She showed me pictures, and I knew I was wrong. All cauze of the media coverage about Africa - I was prejudice. I was younger then, that was 9 years ago, I was 18 years old.
hahaha the end timing was perfect..Michael says "bye" and then the "WOOOOOO" comes in.
Anyhoo, he is so knowledgable and so wonderful...I don't know how he went through these charges for a second time...that's just so horrible and must have been so emotionally draining. I can't imagine the intense emotional and psychological pain he was going through. He really was a warrior.
I really cant stop crying..about the fact that people circlized him to take advantage. this is so sad.. the worst thing that can happen to you..if everybody pretends being a friend.
Michael never asked for something. He only wanted love. He always gave more as he took in every single way. He was always kind eventhough people were hurting him (though media)
his children have learned A LOT at this short period with him
egypt is geographically in africa, but the people act and look more arab then african. Its like saying autrailians r asian, cos their in asia but obviously there not asian so austrailia was seperated as a country and contenent. Rip Mj
Consider that you don't have to be BLACK to be an African. The only requirement to be an African is to reside on the continent of Africa. You don't have to be a particular race to be an African. Nelson Mandela is African, Charlize Theron is African, Anwar Sadat was African. What they look like simply doesn't enter into the equation. Thanks.
Mike is right! They only look that way now, but in ancient Egypt, the Egypt of the pyramids and of the Bible the people were dark and more "african looking" Look up the genealogy of Noah's kids especially the sons of Ham. Ham is considered a ancestor of the black race his sons were Cush / Ethiopia, Mizarim which is Egypt. And just like in Australia the white Europeans came later when it was made a British a penal colony. They also came later to Egypt. That's why they look more white now.
I'm amazed by Michael's grace, his wisdom and knowledge! Michael is the truth! I'm so glad he talked about these things and shared a more intimate side of himself.
Thank you brizzy11 for posting this. Love the pictures u have up with it. I'm sure MJ apperciate it too knowing that he have fans like u and me and all the ones who left good comments on this too. Again thank you.
Thanx a million! for posting this interview. it was very genuine and real. it is also very clear and audible. it has been a pleasure listening to it. i am from kenya. it is soo nice to hear that micheal loved africa too.
Michael, I wish you all the peace right now. Truly we miss you so much because you have made us to love you all your life. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for all the things that you did to make this world a better place.
Micheal lived a good life. He was/is loved by people everywhere and his legacy of peace goes on. That is the true measurement of a successful life. Not riches, not power, but that you loved and were loved.
Well done, Michael, my brother. R.I.P. until we meet again.
Thanks for posting this, the best interview I've listened to. Hope it stays up.
MJ was so comfortable, real, candid, unguarded, passionate. Knowing JJ wouldn't deceive, slander or crucify him, he was free to expose his heart and soul. How refreshing.
God bless MJ, JJ, and TM.
The remaining question- how did the legal drug cartel and doctors get to him? The antithesis of his holistic lifestyle.
Boycott Big Pharm. They killed hundreds of thousands a year with their legal drugs.
That's a juvenile point-of-view. The Janumet and Glimepride that I need to treat my diabetes are sold by "Big Pharm" and I use them to keep me alive and functioning well. Legal drugs aren't the problem. It's their misuse.
I'm sorry that alternative treatments aren't widely accepted or promoted and haven't been unvailable to you. Treatments that don't do further damage while masking symptoms. Legal drugs are a big problem. Opposing views aren't juvenile. Search for alternative treatments for diabetes if you're remotely curious.
"Unvailable"? Look. I'm sorry that alternatives aren't available to me and other diabetics as well. The facts are this, though. I need my drugs, and the doctor has to prescribe them to me. The juvenile part of your view comes from this pollyannish idea that if you snap your fingers and make drug companies go away then my problems are solved. Wrong. My problems would worsen, and I would be dead by the end of the month, just as I was dying last year before I knew I needed them.
So just what the hell good do you think "boycott Big Pharm" would do for people like me then? Killed thousands of people? They are keeping me alive, honey and I'm grateful both for them and for the insurance that makes legal prescription drugs affordable for me. Yours was a childish statement and ill-informed. And thank you, I do feel better because of it.
This really was a great interview. I saved it as my favorite. I have been listening to him for awhile wanting to get to know the REAL MJ instead of the Media/ICON MJ that the media has created him to be. :) May God bless you all. Jesus loves you.
Many thanks for posting this brizzy11- it was a very enlighting interview- he was, as Brooke Shield's said, very "unjaded"-despite all that was heaped on him- so sorry he could not work things out in a more positive way for himself- but I think a lot Us us would have "cracked" in the life that was his- he battled on for ages in a goldfish bowl. I think he has left a unique legacy both in entertainment, and on a humanitarian level. I hope his spirit is at peace.
our angel, thinking about everyone else other than himself while he is suffering .. another angel tom mesereau his attorney protected our angel and let justice be done .. also jesse jackson should have been the one to interview our angel not barsh* who truly took advantage .. when our angel speaks, he shows so much wisdom, graciousness, and appreciation .. i will listen to these videos many many times .. thx you so much for posting ! thx you angel for watching over your loving fans .. xoxoxo ..
I love his message 2 his fans in the end. I will always pray 4 u Michael. U will forever be in our hearts & minds. I LOVE U SO MUCH. RIP MY DARLING ANGEL.
fantastic interview. If some of his other interviews had been half as good as this one, the world would really have known a completely different Michael Jackson than the one they were sold by the media. I wish he was still here so we could hear more from him. I cannot accept that he is really gone :(
brizzy11 - thank you so much for sharing this video
and thanks to Rev jesse jackson, for hosting a unique and honest interview. it really allowed us into michael's heart and understand him on a different; almost spiritual level and it's amazing to see how true and caring this person is with all his charity and love for people.
Thank you soo much for letting us hear this interview. I hope more people hear it. I will be referring fans to it from other blogs. The best interview I've heard.
This was a beautiful interview. Thank you so much for posting it. Michael was clear, coherent, articulate, and brilliant. You should do whatever you can to promote this interview to those who attack and ridicule MJ.
"Thank you for Posting The Videos... I Enjoy them All... Michael Jackson was Truly a Gift from The Lord" he was Such an Loving & Sharing and Caring Person.
We was blessed to have such an Beautiful Person Like Michael...:)
As I continue to listen to Michael's various interviews, he makes me know how very awe inspiring and wonderful he truly was. This interview, by far was the most awesome because I got to see even more of his heart. His words went deep into my spirit...I share the exact same vision for the continent and people of Africa. I have felt that way all my life and my roots are from Liberia in which he sang Liberian girl.you changed my world..on one of his videos. Africa was in Michael's heart.
It is ALL about money isn't it. They don't know how to make it like he does... SO... THEY're coming after his. Oh... some DA have been know to want to make a career by taking down big names.. so they can be a governor later on... ALL ABOUT MONEY. Tabloid wanted to sell.. They don't care he they kill or walk all over to get there. He employed more ppl gives more money than any of them can ever imagine. (Still giving in his will and trust to charities).
I have to come to youtube everyday and listen to Michael Jackson's interview and watch his performance ever since we lost him. This interview was the BEST one of them all. This was real Michael. He had most kind, pure heart and soul on the planet and we lost him. I always knew he was genius and smart but I didn't know he was this smart and so articulate. I miss him every day and I love him with biggest respect forever.
tokyoginza..I am crying right now as I write this.I too, have listened to Michael's music , researched, and listened to interviews since Michael has gone on to be with the Lord. I so agree with you that this interview is by far the very best because it truly allows the listener to hear his heart. I have got to do something to connect to his vision and cause. It is up to us who are still alive to carry on.
an amazing interview! incredinly intelligent, he shows so much devotion to Africa, and he really does want to make a difference! I feel for him, with what he went thru with those trials!! At least he has soooo many loyal fans around the world tht show they will stand by him no matter what!! Thats amazing!
What really makes me cry is that he was still so positive and driven to do more good despite being in the middle of such a devastating trial.
Michael was definitely not an ordinary man, God must have made Michael special to test us......how do you think we fared?. Michael must be resting in God's embrace now being comforted and rewarded. I love you Michael. With God you rest.
I absolutely agree with you.....always comment on youtube and say how he was a test of how we treat what is not typical or what we not used to even though bottom line they are still the same. This man was simply intelligent and idealistic and showed strenth in whatever he did. I'm so impressed by his beauty ...especially on the inside
I LOVE YOU MICHAEL JACKSON AND I will for the rest of my life!!!. BEST SINGER AND One of the best Humans ever!.

MJ loved Africa.....vacations there......
warmandgifted 2 years ago

@bluerachael1979 He was very well read. He was a very intelligent man who studied everything to the fullest.
nutothis1 1 year ago 2

HoneyTulipsa 2 years ago 12
I agree. but Joe the person is still an ass...unfortunately he isnt that smart to realise how he made his children feel cause I'm sure MJ wasnt the only one. None the less God loves him

i love it!!! Michael spoke the truth!

God Bless.

Everybody in America should be proud of Michael Jackson, he was an absolute rare & irreplaceable treasure. While he is suffering through this trial, he is still thinking of the pain of others. There will never be another like him, & there never has been another like him.
cardinalgirl1 2 years ago 5

Thanks.
IrisMG 2 years ago
yes i know lol, my point was kinda different, but yes i agree.
tellul8r 2 years ago
Mike is right! They only look that way now, but in ancient Egypt, the Egypt of the pyramids and of the Bible the people were dark and more "african looking" Look up the genealogy of Noah's kids especially the sons of Ham. Ham is considered a ancestor of the black race his sons were Cush / Ethiopia, Mizarim which is Egypt. And just like in Australia the white Europeans came later when it was made a British a penal colony. They also came later to Egypt. That's why they look more white now.

WWMJD 2 years ago 4
That's a juvenile point-of-view. The Janumet and Glimepride that I need to treat my diabetes are sold by "Big Pharm" and I use them to keep me alive and functioning well. Legal drugs aren't the problem. It's their misuse.
IrisMG 2 years ago
I'm sorry that alternative treatments aren't widely accepted or promoted and haven't been unvailable to you. Treatments that don't do further damage while masking symptoms. Legal drugs are a big problem. Opposing views aren't juvenile. Search for alternative treatments for diabetes if you're remotely curious.
WWMJD 2 years ago 2
"Unvailable"? Look. I'm sorry that alternatives aren't available to me and other diabetics as well. The facts are this, though. I need my drugs, and the doctor has to prescribe them to me. The juvenile part of your view comes from this pollyannish idea that if you snap your fingers and make drug companies go away then my problems are solved. Wrong. My problems would worsen, and I would be dead by the end of the month, just as I was dying last year before I knew I needed them.
IrisMG 2 years ago
What's juvenile is your assumption that I would advocate you not having the option to take drugs if that was your INFORMED choice.
Untested and off-label use of drugs are killing too many people and doing nothing to heal the underlying issues of their dis-ease.
Glad you feel better. Sorry you're harming yourself in the process. Blessing to you.
WWMJD 2 years ago
So just what the hell good do you think "boycott Big Pharm" would do for people like me then? Killed thousands of people? They are keeping me alive, honey and I'm grateful both for them and for the insurance that makes legal prescription drugs affordable for me. Yours was a childish statement and ill-informed. And thank you, I do feel better because of it.
IrisMG 2 years ago
