more than a great "christian" band, a great band and a pioneer in music history, period! i saw them twice, and will always have a great deal of respect for them!
I had the privilege to see the band perform this album in its entirety at the Cornerstone Festival in the nineties. It was one of the best concerts I'd ever seen, and I've seen quite a few. The album remains one of my favorites.
I read your comment fragilebeaster and I would like to share something with you. Though I was saved in 1975, if I have learned anything it is that none of us can be a "good christian" on our own. Though I aknowledge my need for a saviour and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I am reminded each and every day just how "good" a christian I can be. I rely heavily on God's grace and forgivness. God is jealous for His kids and will ALWAYS forgive. Be blessed ...
Thank you Mr. bassguitarman!..To put it short i was surprised to find Your words for me here..Thanks again, prayers are needed here.. Take care and the best to you!
*Lament* is absolutely a milestone album!! Dunno how good christian i am but still happen to love dis band, mr. Kaisers voice and mr. Herrins drumming are always something truly great! Thx for postin!
It's from one of their best albums - 'Lament'. It's a concept album about one person's spiritual journey. Get your hands on it if you can - you'll understand the song better in the context of the entire album.
caught this band at creation 81 in muddyrun park Pa. seems like a hundred years ago. The gal in the video had broken her leg that year and still got up there to jam. Great festival that year...Anyone there also please post
MSSTUDIIOWV - Thank you & God bless you for posting this video. I read where someone said "Shadows" was one of their personal fav songs. Would you happen to have that for upload? :)
I Have Been Blessed To Have Seen Them Live Twice! They Really Do Know How To Put On A Great Live Show! They Are Real People, Not Some Group That Played And Packed Up After Shows! They Stayed For Hours After Concerts, Talking & Praying With People! God Sure Sent Rocking Angels In The Heart Of North Malden Chicago! The Band Loves People, Intertwine And Interact & Live In The Community With People! Got To Love Them For That! I Will Miss New Albums From Rez For Sure!
I'd love to see more uploaded from the Innocent Blood Album, more specifically the song "Altar Of Pain" one of my faves.

I'm not a Christian at all, but this is one of the best albums I have ever heard. I wish I could understand more deeply what they are expressing.

Produced by Ty Tabor, I think he played some guitar on it as well. REZ was killer live.
