I used to have a membership on this game, always went with the sloops, my last ship was the war sloop, i always picked those cus you could navigate away from fire realllly easily and make a quick escape, people tend to underestimate the sloop and go for the clumsy bulky galleon or the leading firepower and hull ship, the frigate

Disney has messed the game up so much 1 they made new islands replacing old 2 they took the old clothes hats coats 3 they took away old body types and the coat hat in pirate custom. 4 they took away the old caves.. hmm I can't think what else they took away.

I really really love this game and the ideas behind it. But for 10$ that I payed I never got enough content. There aren't many things to do ingame. I have no diea what's stopping them. A game like this with more content can certainly sell and create a fanbase that has nothing to do with the movie.

Better detail...seems like Disney has given up on their MMO experience. That is...unless you pay them. Try PotBS...have you contacted support by the way. They might respond quickly.

Anybody that has played this game and have quit it should try Pirates of the burning Sea, it's alot better than this game and is alot cheaper, (a one time 14.99$ and you get most of the game)

@BurstLimitVegeta It's still around but I don't know if lots of people are playing it. They did an overhaul around Dec. 2009 and everybody hated all the changes. I quit playing after that, so I'm not sure how many others are still around...not many I would guess. I migrated back to WoW.

@diablo363 Hence it is a beta, besides for this game it counts on the mobility of online game play, if you are a pure perfectionist on texture quality then you should not think about playing this game, But if you think about having fun with others online in a very uncommon type of game then you should play something like this, I am on a very good crew and I can't complain about the economy as I earned 100k a day.

I remember playing this when it was new. I quit shortly after because it had trouble with my PC and the game was laggy as hell and a lot of the graphics and textures were missing resulting in bald people, missing buildings, floors and walls. And just shitty gameplay. But even when it was new an di had the free version this game was a hell of a fun game. The graphics here are worse than i remember. The most annoying thing is trying to grapple a boat. Most of the time someone blows it up.
