You should watch World Championships every year, because his amazing in there. He isn't so fast anymore, but his experience is in so high level that he will be great in front of the net.

BTW, Teemu Selänne did 80 points last season and he even didnt play in all of the games, he played only 73 matches. And now he is wondering that if he would continue his amazing career another year. He said 4 years ago, that the next year is the last, but clearly it wasn't.

@Graysonfball77 Well, to be honest, I would've traded him. I never really liked Carter, it always seemed to me that he had a good hard shot, but he wasn't very accurate. Sure he leaded the team in scoring, but he only had a few more goals than Briere who also gets a good number of assists as well as goals. I think that Carter leaded the team in scoring because he leaded in shots, not that he was a bad player, but trading him gives Briere more shots and he does have a better shooting percentage.

@top5deadoralive1 Yeah, that's a good point. I hardly considered the age factor, but I figured at this point that that really wasn't much of a factor for Briere, but you're certainly right. That will become an issue and once that happens I'm really going to worry about them unless they find more guys that can score. As of now the scoring is resting on the shoulders of Giroux, Van Riemsdyk, Briere, hopefully Jagr, and any of the draft picks that turn out to be any good.

Jagr's my fave player to use, Flyers got way better with the addition of him and its official Flyermania has finally come full circle for me. On Avangard in NHL 09, you just pass him the puck and he'll score, he's Mike Vick on ice skates.

Ovechkin layed him out with an open ice hit at center ice when he was going full steam ahead. if hes dancing around in the offensive zone you cant do anything to him. did you see the game against slovakia before the one against russia? or how about the past two world championships? he was dominating on the offensive side of the game. of course he wont be as good as he was, but hell still be effective on offense.

@alphadude159 u hav no idea wat u r talking, a study was just done to see wat to expect from Jagr and it came to the conclusion that he should hit 70 points, he has been a point per game guy in the KHL which is the 2nd best league after the nhl, study compared other good players that came back to the US from russia and the stats rarely fall off, Jagr will be a very effective player, dont be surprised if he is 2nd on the team in points behind giroux
