What an immortal song sung yet by an immortal singer like Ghantasaala! How refreshiong it is for the ears! Is it not a feast for the music lovers?Apart from the the melody contained in the rendition, what an excellent literary value it has!!It is a real depiction of a true love/lover recalling the days he/she spent with him/her.With all the sophistication & the concomitant comforts the modernity has brought in,OLD IS ALWAYS GOLD.Friends!Same song rendered by Janaki also is equally melodious.
this is sad version.Janaki sang happy version.difficult to say which is better. It is such a poignant, melodious song rendered by great singers touchingly . beautiful itune and sahityam. ramanarao.muddu
video clippings of such great movies are missing . we feel any great musician or writers or senior film actors can take interest in presenting them to the present generation or old generation . please do this service and preserve our telugu culture
babu garu, am from hyderabad too... excellent song alright music ofcourse, but awesome collection of pictures...rarest of the rare... what is the source my noble sir..
One of my favourite songs....I must have sung this song atleast 10 times in different competetions during my school days, and whenever I sung, comments were excellent.......!!!! Thanks for posting this song
Thanks for the song. I got thrilled looking at the superb collection of photographs which no doubt many followers of Ghantasala would love to possess.
From this song Madanmohan coppied in hindi. The filmis Mrere sayya sung by Lata, Nenoki badresaya,It is great hit, by the credit should go to telugu song by Pendyalaa
evadoentoo, are you an idiot? Sounds like you are musically brain dead. There will be always songs which are based on same raags to have some similarities but it doesn't mean that the entire song is same. Grow up.
@apparaovv... till now i was thinking the other way round that Penadyala inspired from Madan Mohan. But just realized by release years. But he didn't copied , more over inspired. Both tunes are great , one is a tragedy and with minor changes Madan Mohan changed the mood.

Correct. The tune was also copied in 2003 for a Malayalm film called Chronic bachlor by Deepak Dev , who did not have the decency to acknowledge

@USIndian51 .. they are close , if you didn't feel then you might be either listening to a different song or don't have music sense as my wife :-)

Among the blue clouds in the air waves
That song you sing reverberates even today
Remnants of some (past) charity brought you to me
They remain enshrined a dear memory in my heart
That sweet nectar of our friendship
Helps me forget my heavy heart
You are that happiness that cannot be reached
Why do you come near? only to drift apart
