@3rd4thgenFbody No the only year you could get t tops out of the factory was 1989. The one and only year, and half way through out the year they were already getting complaints about tops handling the torque. So 90 they cut the option away. If you see a any 3rd gen with a 350 factory motor and its not an 89, its an aftermarket option you can get if the customer wanted it back then, they never came factory other than 89.

Hello. I have a 1991 GTA and it sometimes will not crank over, does not even make a sound. All the electrics work but there is nothing from the starter motor. It does not do this all the time, just sometimes, but it is a real headache when it does this. what can this be? bad gear selector switch? ignition switch? any ideas would be really appreciated. Thank you.
start solenoid, mine does same same thing, you just need a nnew starter, you have to turn the key a whole buncha times before it actually catches and will turn over, my 91 GTA did the same thing
First of all htere is only one belt on the car BRO. Seccondly what you are hearing is probably the injectors. Anyways love th car man i had an 89 modded out and a 90 model both black with tan interior and loved the cars. Wish i would have never sold them.
Yes the car comes with one belt...but i got a 87Gta and a 89 firebird and the Gta has 2 belts with no A/c smog or Powersteerin pulleys...with 2 belts.
Go ahead and remove the a/c compressor period, it's robbing the engine of horsepower, one less belt on the engine, the more torque and hp you'll get going to more important parts on the engine
I wish my interor look as good as yours does i have the same car, only i just put a 355 with crancam and camel hump heads in it and now im wishn my interor looked better.. BUT SURE DONT MIND THE MOTOR!!!:D
Brings back memories! I had a 91 also, same color, same interior. Mine had t-tops, but I really prefer the solid roof for it's added strength. Enjoy it!

Cool car, I used to have one of those back in high school and college. I had some fun in that car, I miss it. I am a big fan of the style of the 91 and 92's.
pretty nice exhaust sound. is that stock? & just a little tip, cut a piece of white paper to your plate size, and roll up little bits of electrical tape on the corners of it and stick it on the plate. Thats what I do and it stays
