While what we11c0me says is true, it seems as if you just wish to hear a recitation live...In which case your not really traveling to see the mosque, but rather to meet to see the reciter...In as much as your allowed to visit a muslim brother, you should be fine..

Al kanderi started in the grand mosque in 1999 and alafasy in 2000 so i dont believe he can be his teacher even though hes older than him. And amazing video i watch it every day thanks sister shaykha ur videos are great like always.:)
