  • Nice style

  • Cool man! I love your playing.

  • Almost nothing sucks if you're good player. Although this sounds nothing like the AC 15, it still sounds great because the guy sounds great.

I once listened to a guitarist with a zoom 505 multi effects and go

wow man! what is this unit?

It wasn't the unit, it was the guy.

Django didn't have any "units" in between, he didn't even have all his fingers but still...

  • U re good... u need a band...

    good job man! :)

  • You need to listen to tal farlow. for the jazz .But its a great amp for the money.Buy it.

  • I have compared this amp to my VIBE DOLPHIN 20 and… my Vibe is sooo much better!

Vibe Dolphin it has more drive and sustain, is more dynamic, it’s lighter and it has a great reverb and tremolo sounds! Last but not least, Vibe is cheaper!!

  • Is that the American Highway strat?

  • at about 0:06 to 0:08 what song is that from?

  • not the amp....it's the player....I'm a gearhead too...still....it don't matter

  • where did you buy that neck and what was the price? i have the same guitar :)

  • with all appreciation to your improvising skills, imho it's what's after 1:56 this modeling is made for.

  • hey can u crank the tube in rthis like a regular tube amp pr does all the gain come from the kmodels?

  • @gtnick314 This amp has a built in attenuator, so you can crank that valve at any volume

  • Good job dude......

  • Hey, I like this! What pick-ups have you got in the Strat?

  • great piece of playing sounding good through the vox ,nice an clean

  • Righteous playing, Dude! Doesn't sound much like an AC15 though. Rich mids are missing.

  • Great playing! Alright folks vox ac15 cc1 or Night Train? Cause i cant make up my mind!lol

  • custom calssic.

  • Thanks i picked one up last month im in love with the ac15cc1 one day ill upgrade to an ac30 with blues.

  • uh i love jazz when its good like this!

  • nice guitar, good playing, shit of an amp.

  • @bille77 I happen to have both VT50 and AC30 and I tell you. VT50 is a wonderful amp. I bet you wouldn't notice the difference in soud between AC30 and AC30 setting on VT50.

  • Why do u think its a shit of an amp? I like the ac15s and the ac30 way better though. I just hate solid state now. But yea i heard the old valtronixs with the grill clothes where way better

  • Those glasses got to go man, you do play well though!!

  • He's going for that pointdexter look!

  • that a nice red t-shirt !

  • it doesn't suck if you know how to play the guitar..

  • whic cabinets go with the night train im looking into buying a tube amp but im stuck between the night train and the tiny terror

  • for those of you who own a AC15, how does it compare to a night train? No nearby shops to demo, but I am stuck between the night train, ac15, and black star, yes i know the black star doesn't fit in there but its still an option, please help!

  • I had an AC15 and sold it to pay for the Night Train -- the Night Train has exactly the same tube compliment as the AC15 and it sounds pretty much the same, plus you have the option of the bright/thick mode switch for added gain plus the 7.5 wattage switch. You give up the tremolo and reverb of the AC15 but you also don't have to lug around that 50 pound monster! It's WAY easier to carry the Night Train and a small cab than it is to carry the AC15 combo. I love my Night Train. :)

  • hey can u put a night train on top of of the ac 15?

  • I think it might possibly fit on top, although you might have some clearance issues with the carrying handle on top of the AC15. The control panel for the AC15 is near the back of the top of the amp so you still have a fairly flat surface to place the Night Train on top...then you could use the AC15 for your cleans and the Night Train for your higher-gain tones and switch between them with an AB Box -- but you'd still have to get a separate cabinet for the Night Train.

  • To be honest, this sounds nothing like my AC15 (but mine's the CC1 reissue and this is a modelling amp, so it's expected). Not a bad tone, just different. I'm kinda digging its subtly.

  • digital<transistor<valve

A great player like yourself can make digital passable though

  • well, i´ve got a real ac15 and I must say that this is ...crap. If you know the vox sounds from recordings, this might remember you of that sound...but... It´s a little bit like a playmobil version of the real world, as all modeling amps so far. I would use a digital amp, if they get good enough, so let´s wait another 5 years.

  • Well said.

  • But still, what is the purpose of getting a more expensive amplifier If you're going to play mostly in your own bedroom? I think this amp is excellent for that use

  • Some people like the really high end low wattage amps.

  • Hae you gotten to try one of the Vox VT's yet?

  • can this amp give a clean sound with high volume???, thanks

  • yes and no

  • excellent sound, dude :)))

    is this alnico speaker?

  • hey dude

are u using some effect here? some reverb? how u put it?

    great playing!!

  • Just a little reverb. Thanks!

  • I will say they sound great... better than some all tubes... but going back from this and another Vox all tube amp... these just lack that bounce and character only an all tube amp can deliver.

  • then give the Blue Tone PRO 30M a listen....let me know if you think it doesn't sound like a tube amp! (click on my name)

    Cheers

  • I think you're exactly right. I own a AD30VT and it sounds great, but it does pale compared to that real Vox tone and winds up sounding a bit thin

  • ain't that a vox valvetronix ad50 or ad30 or so

  • it is

  • idk why i posted that without finishing what i wanted to say... ignorance i guess.

it is probably an ad30 but the ad series are modeling amps and it has an ac15 setting.

  • that is possibly the ugliest strat ive ever seen ha im not trying to be an ass your a great player and lovely tone from the vox but that is an ugly guitar

  • I love using the AC15 with my Gibby. It gives such a great warm clean tone with just that little bit of break-up that I love.

  • Yeah, if you turn the gain all the way up.

  • Is that really the AC 15 setting for the single-note stuff? It sounds so much more "Voxy" and fatter for chords. More like Boutique Clean for single note stuff. Thinking on buying one. Great jazz lines, Mr!

  • Yes it is.

  • wow awesome man! I love that strat, and that tone! I have the same amp but in a 30 watt for my room and a 120 watt head + my homemade cab for the big jams ;) Jimmy.

  • amazing!

    sounds awsome ...

  • sweetness. i loved the sound of it

  • Nice improv composition. You're fun to watch.

  • Cool 'Wilbury lick' to finish it off Robert!

    Sounds great.
