Thank you for sharing. No words in my language skills can relate the effect and respect I have towards All people associated with this film. Since we have been denied the experience her e in the USA it is my hope that DVD could be made available accompanied with a documentary sharing the deplorable conditions which poverty reflects for Native Americans. Very powerful film, beautifully photographed, it shines a light on the immense poverty that thousands of Americans continue to face, be they Native American or Latino, or African American or Caucasian. Soul destroying poverty is real. I so wish this movie had been released in the US.  Don't care what any critics might have thought or still think. This kind of perspective is ESSENTIAL if this country is going to make it spiritually. Just an amazing document.

this was one of the movies which instantly made me fall in love with Depp's acting and looks.Although I am not exactly religious,I do believe this guy possessed something deeply spiritual.I mean,look at him,he has a gift,he is incredibly charming,he never even graduated,but he made it up the top.In my view,he just has it in him,it's inside him and he can't escape it.Hands down,best actor alive!

I hate when Hollywood hires white actors to play non-white characters.

@JOSUE1987 LOL Many Natives do not even look like what others think Natives are supposed to look like. Cherokee, many of them along with other nations have light skinned Natives that Non Native people may mistake for White, sometimes Chinese, etc. I'm glad Johnny made this movie. It shows he is proud of his partial Indian heritage. Which he has maintained consisistently since day one. Yes he is primarily Irish/German. But if you look at him, you can see the Irish AND Cherokee.

I honestly don't get this film =S I'm just so confused. I got the film and I watched it and I really don't understand it. JD is really hot in it and he did direct it very well but I just don't understand the movie.=( Its a good movie overall though i just don't understand it sorry.
