It's amazing that there's so much footage of aliens to think if we are well us is it really unethical to think that there is nothing at all in space most likely if we manage to make contact to whomever's out there they will most likely be friendly humanoid being because think we ourselves are rabid savage animals the only thing that separates us is that we can speak and we use weapons technically we are the most savage species on earth.
Dumbasses I'm in 8th grade and ik more biology than sum of u guys. This octopus is a cephalopod . Belonging to that family and its it's own species so now how could a fictional alien character do shit like this ? Just cuz it sounds the same doesn't mean it is. So stop tellin peeps that it could do something. Jeez.
@alexsweeney111213 The fact that it's a Cephalopod and that it's its own species doesn't mean anything at all.
The guy you're probably responding to came here because of a game. The enemies in that game are cephalothingies and are named after Cephalopoda. What you just said actually makes you more like a dumb ass. You're trying to prove you're not one though.
The alien your picturing is a "Hollywood" alien... I mean seriously, what makes us (I not just "pointing at you", im pointing at Humans in general) think that if there is such thing as life on other planets, that they will be big, slimey, terrorizing creatures that feed on us people...
Honestly, this kinda scares me... If these thing can open containers, (its an octopus come on) imagine what would happen if they evolved into weird alien things. Are you getting the same vision I am? This is why aliens are portrayed as octopus like things sometimes... Still scared...
@nothingbettertodosoo Funny you say that.I only came here cos I play Crysis...and cephalothingies are the main bad guys. Never knew they could open shit like this. Pretty cool:)
dude that tank is way to small for him, even for his size... its way to small... so unless you can get him/her a bigger one fuck off and give the octopus to someone else. seriously....
Is his arm stuck in the hole?? It's really cool and they are very smart... but don't you think that's why you should not own one as a pet and support the horribly destructive pet fish market??
Crab:------------ Baaaaaalls! Balls! Balls!...........frick I forgot I'm in a ball! Uuuum....... the other side of the tank! The other side of the tank! The other side of the tank!
I saw a video once of an octopus leaving his tank and crawling across a room to get at the fish in the opposite tank. They are very smart and persistent as hell. He looked like he wrapped himself around the bubble to test and manipulate the pressure all around and rock it open from all sides.
well done giving the octopus a job to do these intelligent creatures are so often put in a tank and are just left - I hope you comment on some of the video's on here with idiots looking after these lovely creatures

O Polvo de anéis é um polvo do tamanho de uma bola de ping-pong, mas é muito perigoso devido ao seu veneno que é enjetado pelos anéis fosforecentes!
