Hopefully there's going to be a separate album from the score.

I was under the impression that Daft Punk was going to be doing an album based on Tron similar to the Batman Soundtrack that Prince did in 1990 which has a separate score. I love Daft Punk and bravo to be branching out but I just don't think this is going to be anything people will be talking about. Other than it sounds dated. I'm so shocked that they didn't take ownership of the sound. Unless this is fake.

The fact that they can go from something like Around the World and One More Time to something like this proves that they can do more than just electronic music. Daft Punk are the DJ's in The End of Line club. They do make a cameo appearance in "Tron" "costume" I guess you could say. But they are in it. You just kinda have to know it's them and that they are there. And I'm sure Daft Punk will do something more Daft Punk-y when they are in the club, I don't think they would disappoint all their fans..

Also....I realise this is Soundtrack music, I ain't thick....but it is generic, seems like a lot of people just jump on it "I LOVE THIS" etc, when deep down we are all wanting something more....even if it is ambient/moody scene setting music, it could still do more...it could have a much more intelligent "tune" behind it.

The soundtracks for big blockbuster films like this are usually 12-15 tracks. The Dark Knight even had a special edition soundtrack with 28 songs.

Ive watched the 8 minute sneek peek before it got tooken off. (Spoilers) This song was used when a bunch of hot women program walked in and used a torch on there fingers to strip sam of his clothes (First time for disney?) and he gets his uniform he uses for the rest of the movie. Scenes are usley shot more then once imagine how of a turn on or and or a awkward moment that must of been for the actor.
