@narathh I used to play WoW for a bit, but I find this game much better. Great community, and some amazing graphics. The screenshots on this video were from years ago on my old PC, I've got the game on Ultra High now and the graphics are some of the best I've ever seen.

It's called The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, and it has an expansion called 'Mines of Moria'. The next expansion, 'Siege of Mirkwood', is due to be released on the 1st of December in America and on the 3rd of December in Europe.

hmm, I quited WoW about a month ago, for school. In summer break i might start again, but LOTRO could get my pref though. I'm still doubting, since I've got a level 80 character and a nice twink character on WoW already. I might just stick with WoW, but who knows ^^ LOTRO, get prepared! :P

You're wrong. WoW Really has 11 million players and it includes only normal active accounts...or maybe some inactive or not so active

Played this about a year ago. I have been playing wow for 4 years, but i liked LOTRO. My comp is pretty sucky, so i had problems with lag in bree and such. Still miss the warrm atmosphere in The Shire <3

I'm not denying that WoW is a good game. It's a fantastic game, and I'd definitely play it if LotRO didn't exist. But I'm a massive Tolkien fan, I'm obsessed with his legendarium, therefore it's inevitable that I'm in love with this game. But I still love WoW, it's great.

Well, it has 11 milion players, and i used to play the game, but i dont like it for a couple of reasons:

1. the people(well, not all, but most of them) are selfish, dumb, rude people who jump around a lot

2. the Story makes no sense to me

3. i just prefer Lotro, i had a lot of fun playing WoW, but personally, i find Lotro more amusing, and a better game

its just all about personal preferences

Nothing is better than a Hobbit in shire , to hear the music and jumping at houses and the stone walls . This game is so free and so good .

No, Hobbits start in Archet as do the Humans, Dwarves and Elves start near Thordin's Gate.

In the intro they go to archet until level 5 (only takes about 50ish minutes which flys by btw =P) then after the intro they go to the shire. I would suggest not skipping the intro though.

in the Intro they start off in archet which is the same area and around lvl 6 when you finsish the intro instance you start off in the shire get to do cool quests from killing goblins to delivering pies and mail without nosey hobbits seeing you
