Im pretty happy about were the factory ford mustangs are performance wise. Although the performance numbers match those of late model (mid 90's) saleens,steeda's and roush just the fact it now comes straight off the lot that way is great, but even better the new engine came just in time for the all new 2014 mustang, which will be a better platform by far than the current.
Im i tad bit afraid they wont get it rite styling wise but if they do it could be a game changer for all muscle cars.
The point isn't whether you like the Mustang or not, the point is that you have a choice to buy a Mustang, a Camaro or a Challenger with over 400 HP V 8 with a 6 speed transmission and a warranty for 35 to 40K..........that is what is wonderful about being a car guy in America.
It's still an ugly modern mustang. If they were gonna put a special edition Mustang out with the best of everything, at least make it look more like the original they're replicating. The modern post-2005 mustang is by far the worst design so far for the model.
