Gives an AWESOME heavy distortion with a megadeth preset on my Zoom and my amp settings at : Bass - 6, Treble - 8, Mids - 4.

their actually pretty badass.the pickups are shit.but the guitar is mohagany and string threw good price for $300.i have 2 black ones.one with seymour duncan live wire metals and the other with seymour duncan distortion pickups

I'm confused about this particular guitar in your video. You say its a VMNTX, but the VMNTX has dot inlays, not the sharktooth ones like on the VMNT. Then again, your guitar has the open-coil humbuckers rather than the Mustaine signature Duncans. I just wanted to clarify, I may be getting this guitar for Christmas. I have to say though, $300 for this baby is an unbelievable fucking value.

man vmntx is nice but u cant set the strings low like in the vmnt

and thats all - i got my vmnt for 1000,000 but its worth great guitar

am planing now to buy vmnt-rip and set it up for low tunings

yeah the pickups do kina, but the neck kicks ass, i put the mustaine pick ups in it sounds the same as the higher quality one, i only bought this for the neck really i prefer no finish on them

bolted means u can take the neck apart and add a diffeient one non bolted u cant take it apart non bolted is better quality .

bolt on neck construction, most cheap non-fender guitars (im pretty sure all fenders are bolt on) are bolt on, its an easy way to lower the price on the guitar and change out the neck if people dont like it, but for consumers like me, i get really picky on how it feels reaching the upper frets (about 18-24 is were it gets to be a pain), prefer set necks as most of the time the guitar company makes them feel neck-thru but can use different woods weras neck-thru cant
