If the US (and probably Israel) goes to war with Iran, other countries, like the UK, should take a back seat. If all of the West goes for Iran, Russia, China and maybe even Pakistan will side with Iran. Then we all end up stuck in WW3. If WW3 happens nukes will be used and many people will die. @tomhikooo How in the hell would the US lose are you kidding? The USAF alone wiped out the world's 6th largest miltary (Iraq 2003) in under 2 weeks... We had ordinance hitting vital targets in Bagdhad less than an hour after Sadam failed to comply.
There would a rain of hell coming down on Tehran before they could even put their boots on. Just like the Iraqi military they will all defect and give up the fight after being hit so hard so quick.

If the US (and probably Israel) goes to war with Iran, other countries, like the UK, should take a back seat. If all of the West goes for Iran, Russia, China and maybe even Pakistan will side with Iran. Then we all end up stuck in WW3. If WW3 happens nukes will be used and many people will die. I'm not saying complete nuclear warfare but it would probably happen.

There will definitely be a war within a year. I don't think it will be a catastrophe in that it will remain a regional war between the West and Iran and its proxies. Russia and China are certainly upping the ante with their typical anti-west rhetoric but I really don't think that they would openly declare war on the US and NATO over Iran. Russia and China does a lot more business through trade with the US and NATO than it does with Iran.
