Lenny looks good. Hope he does okay. I understand about vet expenses. we have four cats. Teeth cleaning in KY is $65 for cats. Big difference in your part of the country. By the way really like the crucifix.

@patboardman Wow. That is a huge difference. Do they anesthetize the cat during the cleaning? That's the big part of the expense here. Glad you like the crucifix.

@gfreakj Yes, they do anesthetize during the cleaning. Ky probably has lower cost of living than DC. Plus I live in a small town.

Lenny looks happy!!! Have you ever thought about one of those pet insurance plans...my daughter is thirty dollars a month but it covers all vaccinations and teeth cleaning and a whole host of other things...well worth it after her dogs health issues cost her about seven thousand dollars.

p.s. our vet said our dog needs her teeth worked on too (a few need to be extracted apparently) but it will cost over $1000, so we haven't been able to do that. :(

My father's dog is going blind and my brother's dog has gone deaf they get old quick lol They live happy lives though.
