  • Amazing.

  • At least you don't have to worry about Tidal waves or earthquakes unlike San Francisco or the long San Mateo-Hayward Bridge.

  • man i wish my car dat fast

  • you would have to go 1790.25 MPH to cross the 23.87 mile bridge in 48 seconds. In case you were wondering.

  • that thing is immense!

  • Nicely done. Brings back the memories.

Wait till the inevitable day when the whole Pacific OCEAN gets bridged! (and other oceans). 96 miles, not 26, to Santa Catalina, from BELMONT SHORES (26 miles being an old 1956 hit by the Four Preps), and 500--that's over 6 hours worth of driving at 60 MPH from San Pedro to hawaii. (Oh well. It could happen.)

  • If you drove that fast (assuming that you could over a very long causeway like that one) you would get a speeding ticket.

  • The song is "Joy" by Apollo 100.

  • thanks appreciate it

  • tell me somehting this might sound a bit silly but i'm not sure thats why i am asking si this bridge leading to new orleans?

  • Hello...thanks for watching my video...

Does the bridge go to New Orleans...Good Question ! It actually is a bridge from Metairie, louisiana (the next "county" from New Orleans) to Mandeville, Louisiana...24 Miles north of Metairie. But in general terms you would say it does "go to New Orleans".

The actual footage you see is going from New Orleans to Mandeville.

  • wanna experience that ride for my self should be exciting just the hole being in the middle of no ware feeling

  • 24 miles of bridge and no shoulders, would suck to run out of gas on that thing! Funny how when sped up it looks like a drunk driver weaving all over the lane.

  • U are right ....there are not shoulders on that sucker! If you get a flat, you are instructed to drive to the next "crossover". Crossovers are about every 3 miles.

  • @3of11 I have, twice.. lol

  • Yeah...it feels like that in real life too !

  • thats pretty cool, when you are about to pass a car it looks like you are going to hit them

    lol
