the whole company is discusting starting with the CEO ... their policies of not giving your money back, the cheap clothes and accesories, the boxes with merchandise have come infested with cockroaches and spiders... Forever 21 ONLY CARES ABOUT your M-O-N-E-Y!!! that's why they're always pushing you with the 1.50 accesories... the company only gives like two discounts around the year, but guess wat you can NOT exchange it or get your money back at all! FU21

I don't shop there and urban outfitters for a number of reasons. I'm glad you're talking about this. the number of "forever 21 HAUL" vids on youtube disgusts me

wow. i never knew any of this. i knew Walmart was that way. but unfortunately i have to shop there because its the only supermarket in my town. i hate shopping at f21. it gives me a headache because its soooo unorganized. plus once you dry their stuff, it shrinks, biiig time. thx for the info. i will be passing it along to everyone i know. :)

When GAP was accused of using sweat shops years ago, there was a huge uproar. Why isn't there the same response with F21?

@prepswirl thank you! my glasses are by ray ban and they're from lenscrafters btw. i try supporting local merchants, but as for chain stores i'm fond of target, macy's, and foreign exchange most recently. also thrifting is a good option.

Hi! Great video. I first heard about the documentary "Made in LA" when I was reading an article about F21.

I watched "Made in LA" and was moved by these women's stories. I'm just wondering why there isn't as much of an awareness of about F21's practices (& lawsuits from high end designers for copyright infringement) in the media. Do people know about the South Central Farm scandal?

I completely understand what you are saying, and i agree. However boycotting doesn't necessarily help as the majority of people who work for them, have no other income and are usually in LEDCs where there are little jobs available, and so by boycotting, manufacturing is reduced and people lose their jobs. But again i do agree with how disgusting workers are treated, it's just hard to say that boycotting is the right or only thing to do.

@dailydoodle101 Very true, it's a very convoluted once you get into it, but this is my way of dealing with it. I don't think F21 will have any less despite any scandal they can cook up, but I just can't look at the company the same and so I just choose to avoid them altogether. I definitely see your point though and thank you for showcasing in such a pleasant way :)

you made some really good points especially about overspending! shopping at thrift stores not only helps you build personal style and be more original and its more ethical! Forever 21 clothes and jewelry are mass produced and are made to give people there look and doesn't give people room to build creativity
