Fighting Abyssion with Raine is lame. Even with semi-healers like kratos/zelos it is not hard at all....

Esp. in the gamecube version this fight is easy, in the ps2 version Abyssion has some more burst damage :D

I fought Abyssion in Mania Mode , too. In Normal and Hard I managed to beat him but on Mania he´s too hard for me . I tried 5 times but then I gave up. I used Zelos , Lloyd , Sheena and Raine . should I try with another group . Please help me !

You can play with 4 at a time anywhere and anytime as long as you have at least 4 characters (Don't worry you'll have at least 4characters most of the time).

To cancel Sword Rain Alpha final upper slash, you must use it 200 times, then you can cancel and link it to any other Lv 3 tech except Sword Rain Beta

Yeah, but that takes an EX skill spot that could be used for another more useful ability,(like Ability Plus or Vitality) using Sword Rain Alpha 200 times allows you to cancel it without needing an ability xD

I think it was fun to fight him... I'm always using (in order) Colette, Presea, Raine and Lloyd... I think there is not a lot of people that has the same party as me... i mean there's not many Colette User even if she's really strong when you only use physical attacks.. not magic attacks... magic attacks are kinda boring to me... :P

me and my 3 buds used Genis, Raine, Kratos, and Regal. spammed judgement, s lightning blade, regal's dark cressent, triple rage and wolverine. genis was rhythming out prism sword, cyclone, and meteor storm. raine was doing what she normally would do. we were under leveled big time but it was still pretty easy.

They're quite the same. I'd think that ToS is a bit different than Abyss because the main character you usually use to fight has a two swords instead of one, like most tales heroes.

shenna's is in the earth temple but first you must help all knomelttes including the one in altessas place..you get genis at altamaira , a guy will sell it on the bridge outside of the casino. Raines is on hakonesia peek after you get the rest of them. Lloyds should be given to you by abyssion.

Good job beating Abyssion in Mania. Just wondering, why did you use Zelos if his only function is to heal? Wouldn't Raine be a more effective healer? Her Revitalize covers the whole field. Gah! I hate Collette! She's so weak (besides her Holy Judgement) and her defense sucks! :x I would use Presea as a pure tank, Raine as the healer, Genus as a nuker, and Lloyd/Kratos/Zelos as a attacker. I mean, Genus can use Indignation Judgment and with Raine they do Prism Stars.

Once You Rescue Everyone in Derris Kharlan, and have the Derris Emblem, go to Asgard, and go the Area Where you battle the Wind Master, and Raine will do dancer ceremony again, then you will get the Tittle.

@dargonvader Fully rebuild Luin (yes the city that got destroyed by the Desians). When you're finished fixing the town, the town on the side where the fountain is, there will be a houseboat with a pirate. Talk to him a couple times and you'll turn Lloyd into a pirate too. Good luck.

Learn how to spell. And "plz" my characters are all now at level 250 (maximum level)plus I have gotten all character titles and have completed the monetser list,collectors book,and figurine book,I also somehow have Demonic Circle and Demonic Chaos on Lloyd =/, which means I have completed the game 100% and I can kill Abyssion within 7 minutes with Lloyd lv 160.

This is The Gamecube Version, Before you Battle Abyssion you will need to find the Devil Arms Weapons.

Not bad. I used Zelos, Genis, Raine, and Presea (me controlling) against this guy. I can get Raine and Presea to receive 0 damage w/ ALL elementals! It would have been easier if you turn off Collete's spells. She casts them too slow and they aren't that powerful...

not a bad job, in the book on the final boss on mania, and i equiped the cursed weapons on sheena and lioyd, and unioned, i was amazed at the damage and when i did a bit of compairing in damage using them and abyssion i noticed that he does simlar damage (lowered because the team members you get have much higher def than most monsters.) anyway back to the union attack. it did 130000000 points of damage. He died right away needless to say.

Hmm, I love it when he says suffer. That was on normal difficulty, I now just started on hard and 1/2 experience. I wonder, where are the differences between normal, hard and mania? Do the enemies actually fight better or do they just do more damage?

In Hard they have X1.5 Stats higher than Normal and Mania it X2 Higher in Stats than Normal. In Normal Abyssion has 120,000HP and in Mania he has 240,000HP and Higher Stats.

No there isn't. Unless you use Action Replay (Cheat device) Or you can Tech Glitch Genis to have some of the T and S side moves at the same time. I have all his T side moves along with Atlas, Absolute & Prism Sword.

If it's a CPU using Zelos, or any magic user, it's best to set their Compound EX. Skills to Concentration, As they don't infinate combo.

Hey dude! I loved this vid. I also beat him on mania, but no1 died and he died in under 1 hour. I was only at lvl 100 about too. You still did it prettiier and better then me though, this was also when I could beat Mithos in under 1 minute.

To make Lloyd Learn Sword Rain Alpha, Use Sword Rain 50 Time and make sure Lloyd is at T-Side not the S-side and if you have Sonic Sword Rain Learned, remove that move and use Sword rain and eventually Lloyd will learn Sword Rain Alpha, and to make him to the T side use the Accessory "Technique Ring" and its located hidden in the Field near Luin. or make Lloyd have T-type EX Gems Skills.
