  • I heard this song in the fortys while in the Army Air Corp, I loved this piece and have searched for years for the ray noble version. Eddie fisher was OK but this Ray noble was so far ahead of his time. Thank you for posting this version

  • I have been looking for this for a very long time. Thanks for posting.

  • Great song, Great singer, Great Ry Noble Band.. Beautiful.

  • Ray Noble was the equal of any of the American big band leaders. Also, the British (at least in the 1930's) were far better at recording their bands. I have this song on an LP and the sound quality is incredible for 1931. Thanks for the post of a great song.

  • love the Song

  • Al Bowlly had quite a life. Over 1,000 recordings? Like the number of Steve Allen's copyrighted songs.

Lady of Spain always makes me smile. I picture someone playing the song on an accordian at a talent show. LOL!

  • This is so nostalgiac of a more innocent time. Wonderful posting.

  • Awesome! I love this!!! Thanks for posting!
