I don't get this. It seems like they slowed both parts of the song down (I'm okay with that), but it doesn't work as Blue Wind is so much slower than Sadness.

Also, what is Ilse doing dancing and doing rockish movements. I swear she used to be much softer and her part was more ballady, that's what made the final part so haunting in my opinion.

Meh. I don't buy Iwan as Moritz. I feel like they slowed down the song so that he could actually hit the pitches better because that's what happens sometimes. I also feel like this is rehearsed I'm not feeling it emotionally from either. :/ Blake Bashoff to me is better.

An oft-used technique, it happens sometimes in a scene where two people are having a fight, they play the love, or in a love scene, they will play it as though they hate each other. Also, the dialogue isn't meant to be a complete downer. There are moments of lightness. On top of that, the English concept of humor is different than the American.

I found out about Lucy May Barker when I auditioned for a place at Lincoln College's 'BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts' course with a Spring Awakening song. When one of the tutors, mentioned HER in my interview and that she knew Lucy Barker. I was WOW! I knew singing 'All That's Known' would pay off!

@JessLBourne they do XD haha its a dramatic technique. It's used in all the shows, to show the songs they are singing are internal: their inner thoughts which aren't necessarily shown. It's to take it away and show that it isn't real, because obviously in real life we don't speak into a fake microphone. It also suits the style of music: rock because they sing to their mike like a singer might.
