@ofelixdacat From my understanding, people didn't understand the faux flame effects and didn't like having smoke blown directly into their faces. I like the idea of the smoke being blown behind you then you turn, but there's nothing to really look at now and just be blinded by the light.

The orlando versin is not just a bunch of special effects. It's features more ride time and does almost everything this one does and more including launching you up like a REAL coaster. Everybody i've asked has said the orlando version is more thrilling and intense. I'm not saying this ride looks bad because i've never been on it, i'm just saying don't cut down the orlando version because it's a high pace in your face roller coaster too!

the difference between the 2 is there is no fake unload sequence on hollywood's version and in the hollywood one has his servants coming back to life before reggie tells you the curse is real. other differences are that in the orlando version that bit at the end witht he sun isn't in it and in orlando's version reggie isnt devoured by scarabs but is mummified
also i think in the orlando version, imhotep isnt on top of that tomb chanting i think you just hear him chanting
its funny cuz the small dips are small going foward but backward they seem huge and me and my friend spoiled the ride...were like "i bet were going just go fast right now" and "i bet were gonna go backwards right now"...we rode it 5 times
man this hollywood version sucks big time compare to the orlando version! i took my family this past week and was expected it to be the same! must say a disapointment
DOOD I loved the ride. Luckly I went on a day when there was no lines so I was able to go on more than onces :D( The second time on the ride I was able to put two thumbs up and smile when it took my picture. :D)
