Let's stop fighting over Pakistan and India. We should never forget that we are of the same blood. Our sanskaar and sanskriti are the same. This song is a prime example of that. All Pakistanis and all Indians can relate to the song and feel it in the depth of our hearts. There are millions of things like that. Daal and roti tastes the same on both sides of the border. A Pakistani mom's love for her child is just as sweet as that of an Indian mother. Why don't we unite with love!

Rahat is a amazing singer but lets not forget the write Gulzar Saab who wrote such beautiful and passionate lines and the composer who composed such creative and soulful music. Rahat has got world attention today and a big part of this credit goes to the writers and composers of all those memorable songs that he has sung so brilliantly. In US/UK today he is known for the songs that he sung for indian movies, i know pakis will come back hard at me on this comment, but truth must prevail.

I find, Rahat to be one of them. To prove my point, he does indeed give due credit to "Vishal and Gulzar" at the end of following video (Pls do watch my video response)

I agreed with everything you said until the last part. What truth is prevailing? He is more known for being Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's nephew than anything else. He got a few stints in Bollywood, So? I highly doubt they'd find a better singer than him in India to sing these intricately complex songs ( Even though I do love Indian Punjabi singers, now they're something).
