Don't cry for WOR, though...the whole antenna plant had already been duplicated literally right across the street, in north Jersey a few miles west of Manhattan, and that's where WOR transmits.from today.

Some AM stations use as many as twelve towers to create complex directional patterns, usually to avoid interfering with other stations on the same frequency.
