He got me into jumping rope after seeing him do it. I can do all of his tricks. It took me about 6-7 months to learn them all. The hardest was the double unders mixed in with some crosses. One of the first trick I learn was the running in place w/crosses. It looks hard, but quite easy ounce you get the timing right.

My comment was from a month ago my friend. I did see the Cotto/Margarito fight. I think a Cotto/Mayweather fight could go either way. Styles make fights. Cotto gave Margarito about as much punishment as he could. Mayweather would have done the same thing against Margarito but probably just run more. Margarito just took it all and was not faded at all. So I retract my comment about Cotto destroying Mayweather. The bottom line is that Mayweather has to man up and face these guys.

Example: In 2005 GayWeather moved up to fight for a Jr WW belt. Both Cotto and Hatton were undefeated champions at that weight, But GW wanted to fight Gatti. A heavy bag with legs. He then moved up to WW beating glass jawed Judah (now 14 loses) who lost to Tszyu, Spinks and in his last fight to Baldomir. He didn't come back to face those he ran from like WIlliams, Mosley, Cotto, Margarito...he came out of retirement ot face a Lt Wt and asked him to move up to WW...as he did Hatton. Same old GW.

Floyd never fought the best, he fights the safest. He could have fought all the best guys Cotto, Mosley, Williams, even Margaritto. Like Floyd says, he thinks people should look at his record and say "he's unbeaten, so he must be the best". But you have to beat the best to be the best and Floyd knows he didn't do that, or even try to do that.

He got me into jumping rope after seeing him do it. I can do all of his tricks. It took me about 6-7 months to learn them all. The hardest was the double unders mixed in with some crosses. One of the first trick I learn was the running in place w/crosses. It looks hard, but quite easy ounce you get the timing right.

My comment was from a month ago my friend. I did see the Cotto/Margarito fight. I think a Cotto/Mayweather fight could go either way. Styles make fights. Cotto gave Margarito about as much punishment as he could. Mayweather would have done the same thing against Margarito but probably just run more. Margarito just took it all and was not faded at all. So I retract my comment about Cotto destroying Mayweather. The bottom line is that Mayweather has to man up and face these guys.

Do you need to KO someone to win the fight. Clearly Margarito's not getting knocked by anyone under 170. He's like a machine. But to be fair, he's not that fast, or skilled, he's just a beast. But unlike Cotto, Floyd will be able to make Margarito miss all night and will pot shot him to an easy victory. It really wouldn't be close, but it also would be entertaining at all

1st Tyson didn't hold the title the longest Joe louis did. second he didn't fight ODLH because at the time Oscar was in a lot higher weight class and 3rd Mayweather said on ESPN fight night "if Cotto wants to fight me all he has to do is call me out" remember PBFMJr. at the time was P4P champ and Cotto was undefeated. Cotto is the one who should go after the champ it's not the other way around. No matter who Floyd beats no one will give him his credit.

James Toney was a decent fighter at that time.Bernard was just starting to evolve as a fighter. He became good after fighting Jones. McCallum is an awsome fighter, however, when Jones fought him he was in his late thirties, and likewisw Hill also. These are my justifications for restricting Jones to a lesser status.
