  • Dave seems to genuinely enjoy Robin's company and is actually laughing,he doesn't seem this way when interviewing other comedians particularly African Americans,it often seems like he fakes his laugh.I'm just saying & this is purely based on my personal observation.

  • Robin Williams late show

  • "my name is Bob"

  • sad day when the world loses this genius comic

  • Not only is Williams an equal opportunity humorist, he actually celebrates the eccentricites - the uniquness - of the individuals and cultures that make up humanity: us.

  • I probably just woke my mom up, 'cause I couldn't help but lol at that hillbilly-impression.

  • 39 people work for the phone company with Bob.

  • Is Letterman like Hercules but instead of being invincible everywhere apart from his heel he was dipped in sarcasm and is now overwhelmed with it?

  • @afterdinnermint2 you idiot it is not hercules who has this weak spot! plus the letterman thing is quite right

  • @CrimeLord6670 *facepalm* and churs, i like my observations when they're fully worded and proofed

  • @schase10353 huh???not even close....i mean...seriously???who did he stole the jokes from ?you?o.O

  • @schase10353 I bet to differ, he is the best improviser. I really didn't know about it until I watched "On whose line is it Anyway" and his participation in "Inside the Actors Studio". Most comedians have scripts memorized, he can improvise for hours.

  • Look at him as a man not wasted on this!!! hahaha

  • hes just totally awesome.... end of story!

  • im a huge U2 fan..but does anyone think robin williams look like Bono?

  • @HokiePokie33 he actually mentions that on one of his stand up specials

  • @HokiePokie33 fuck no......

  • @KWDOLFAN2010 nice comment...really. nice comment

  • I've watched a lot of Robin Williams clips and standups... and 3:33 of this video is the most hilarious he's ever been... I'm curl with laughter at that till this day.

  • Robin Williams isn't racist - he deems Richard Pryor as one of his comic idols.

  • @MrSpeed997 Jerry Lee Lewis loved boogie woogie and cited Jelly Rolly Morton as an early influence to his music but hated black people. Dropped N bombs all the time in his early career.

  • @rrtodd95 well, gee since jerry lee lewis was a racist, robin williams must be one too(!)

  • uzasny

  • amazing!!!!!!

  • where was Robin as Dave's attorney when he was bangin his staff lolll

  • Letterman: "Sweet little girl by the way"

Robin: "Yes sir...and what do you mean by that?"

LMAO! This guy is fantastically too hilarious.

  • It amazes me how humor is lost on so many people. Its funny people its just humor...he makes fun of EVERYONE including himself, his family, the host. No one is excluded. People need to get a life and stop trying to make mountains out of mole hills.

  • LOL

  • aww, he's done that golf/soccer joke before. :(

  • I would to... It was given to him.

  • "members of the jury Mr. Letterman has not committed a crime as much as avoided one......"

  • he looks better with a beard

  • Which one?

  • ah comedy u never fail to bring the worst of public opinion on the comment board

  • sentence repair shop, lol!!

  • you sure done the famly right!xD

  • That was for gillan5 ........LMAO

  • Like Don Rickles, Williams always makes really horrible remarks about us Germans. In a German talk show he asked the host if the Germans better had not killed all the funny people in the country. This is yesterday bullshit. We are not as funny as Mr. Williams, he is a worldwide unique guy. But also demonstrating the goose step in order to portray us Germans is neither funny nor anything in this direction. Here only people about 70years old know what goose step is. Disgusting is disgusting.

  • @gillan5 I think you missed the point of his joke. It was a comment about Arnold Schwarzenegger the Austrian born, therefore German speaking and German accented when he speaks English, governor of California.

  • Yes, you are right and not right. I am a R. Williams fan - mostly he as a comedian - so I have watched I guess most of his talk shows with Letterman, Ferguson, Leno etc. I know what I am talking about. He does bullshitting on us Germans once in a while. I think it has to stop when it comes to Nazi dirt. He should not do that. Rickles goes even beyond that in his Vegas show. But he has more of a right since he is from the Generation when it happend.

  • Strange that when Germans make jokes about Poles they don't seem to see a problem.

  • No, you're wrong. There are no limitation to comedy, And Americans laugh at jokes calling them Indian butcherers. Besides, in democracy we've got the so-called freedom of speech, so that anyone can say whatever he wants even if it's stupid. It was rather a Nazi practice to keep people's mouth shut. ;]

  • @gillan5 Mr Robin Williams is more cruel at american people, culture and history... He doesn´t have any political corretness and that´s the point.. Using humour. Peace.

  • I give up. The difference between us here und the American way of life is too great.

So then: Mr. Robin Williams has the right to say anything. Even still comparing my generations with Nazi-Germany. Good luck America.

  • @malelion "I was never crazy about Hitler...If you stand on a soapbox and trade rhetoric with a dictator you never win...That's what they do so well: they seduce people. But if you ridicule them, bring them down with laughter, they can't win. You show how crazy they are."

    Mel Brooks

  • @malelion don't be so sensitive

  • Take a pill.

  • he says it to make people laugh. Gay people get mad at gay jokes, germans get mad a german jokes its just comedy

  • So then, you would also laugh if he made jokes about you and your ancestors killing and butchering millions of Indians, only because on the ground that you are American? I guess you from the US still have no boundaries to fun. It is o.k. for me.

  • @gillan5 im not american dipshit where you get that from, and there is nothing off base as far as comedy is concerned lighten up.

  • @gillan5 Poor Germans? Are we really having this discussion?

  • @alexpetro27 No discussion required! I stated my case, no more no less.

If he hates us Germans or the Australians he should not go there and make money out of us. This is hypocrite. Apart from that I think that he is one of the funniest and wittiest man on earth.

  • @gillan5 He teases and pokes anybody and everybody including himself and you think he's hating on all of Deutchland with malice? Your comments add nothing of constructive value and only show you have a gaping hole in your perceptions.

  • @ehcmier I have enough of any conversations with any American. You can simply not accept that other people have other opinions. So now come Mr. or Mrs. ehcmier and gives me another lecture about Mr. Williams being the greatest person on earth who has the goddamm right to insult living and breathing Germans like me as Nazis. Jesus - these Americans are nuts!

  • The band is playing "Rockin' Robin"

    XD !

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good lord, Williams is a funnyass guy.

  • OMG!!! LMAO!! YOu think Robin is racist *rolls on floor with laughter* you are a moran. I love all of his stuff and all you all who think he is racist just need to keep ur ass out of comedy. Go watch the weather channel. Every comedy (famous) pokes fun at some race rether it is white, black, hispanic, asain. So back off either enjoy it or watch something else. *hugs* to robin

  • Why would I have anything about the slopes? Also yes I did spell Asian wrong. I will be the first one to say that I am a poor speller.

  • Robin Williams is a comedian..,yet he is much better in serious roles than he is comedy's..

  • @dhlfh

My initial instinct is to disagree with you - but then I think about it for 1-2 seconds.

    You´re right.

He reminds me of Jack Lemmon in that regard. He´s funny - but he´s at his most convincing playing a serious part. Like Jack Lemmon in The China Syndrome. Or Glengarry Glen Ross.

    Or Robin in Awakenings.

On that note - mr Tom Hanks !! - Comedy needs ya !! Enough with that serious shit !!

    COMEDY !! Remember ?!

    Same goes for Jim Carrey.

  • jack lemon?

he's rolling in his grave right now.

    bt

  • @dhlfh he's a great comedian, probably the most quick-witted in his profession today. but he's also a tremendous acting talent. always blew me away in his serious parts. (having said that, he does make me cry with laughter when he does comedy / stand-up / improv. :))

  • @dhlfh brilliant at bothe if u ask me

  • @dhlfh Yeah it's about the only time you get to see him serious.

  • @dhlfh I totally agree with you. I love his comedies, but when he does "drama" movies, he totally owns the scene!

  • @dhlfh untrue. He's much better in about 10% of the movies he's ever done because 90% of them are awful....comedy or serious drama

  • @dhlfh so true.

  • @dhlfh Good Will Hunting ftw

  • Drugs and prostitutes? Let´s talk about Camden, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. Fuck you orange-fat-ass-pig!

  • The only thing I can say is that I'm sorry for your ignorance and for the innocent blood spilled in the unnecessary wars.

  • Robin stupid, why dont you laugh about the people from September 11.

    Fuck off, drug dealer.

There are really lots of cocain in Brazil, fell confortable to come back always. Oh, dont forget that Rio is not in Argentina, looser.

  • velho, sem graça ,ultrapassado, mal informado, desrrespeitoso,.Triste ver o ocaso de quem já foi um ator mediano.

  • Robin Williams is an actor of a single character. He portrays himself at all times. Unfortunately, he lost the sympathy of the thousand Brazilian fans, victims of yank prejudice from this man. As much sympathy that has this gentleman, the apparent charisma does not hide xenophobia and prejudice, not only for Brazilians but for French and other nationalities.

  • Comment removed

  • Ethnic jokes and stereotypes are a comedy staple (not saying its right). No one can know if a comedian is truly racist unless they have a meltdown like the actor who played Kramer. Ethnic jokes work in two ways - if it was not for the sad fact ppl believe it, the ideas that bigots spout forth are quite humorous, and the bigots think its funny that someone is making fun of the group they dislike and getting away with it.

  • Comment removed

  • lol u got an anger issue don't you? Robin is not my fav comedian by any means, and i made it clear i did not agree with ethnic humor. he may well be racist, i just said we can't know it. that being said, Rob makes fun of everybody, including Americans - watch some of his stuff performing in England - so its not any one group or xenophobia. he makes fun of himself as well, such as when he got a colonoscopy. i have no clue why u are looking for respect in a comedian - they live on rule-breaking.

  • The jokes made by this gentleman only change of scenery, but the content and message remain the same. Where is the humanity of this man before the Brazilians?

  • ops, my mistake.

he speaks about Brazil in an interview of this year.

    This video is 2005.

  • What are you talking about, critisising Robin Williams? He is a a creative and generous genius who gives joy to us all. If you don't recognise his talent, you need to watch and learn, and then think a little bit, and then watch and learn a litle more, instead of showing your bitterness and arrogance. We should all be grateful for people like him, they are stars whose brilliance will never fade, regardless of stupid peoples' uninformed remarks.

  • I used to like him... but when he said that things about Brazil... I HATE HIM NOW!

WHAT THE HELL! "Brazil sent 50 strippers and a pound of powder"

HAHAH, VERY FUNNY ROBIN WILLIAMS! ¬¬

  • It's not in this interview that he speaks about Brazil. It's in an older one I think...

  • Come here in Brazil Robin..come here... sweet mouth!

    Allah bless you!!!

  • Brazil? Allah? WTF?

  • Comment removed

  • Because third world countries are above criticism and jokes, right?? I thought colombians were the only "sensible" ones but brazilians are not far behind.
