  • what he did with the role, and I agree, he does crazy brilliantly. I liked the fact that he didn't depict Hamlet in a constant depression, allowing the humour and fun of the character to shine through in his madness while also retaining his darker, revenge seeking quality, and feelings of betrayal and loneliness.

    A great performance, and a well put together show. :)

  • I saw this last week at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham, it was great. I liked the modern interpretation, it wasn't what I was expecting but I enjoyed it all the more for that, and as the person said in the clip the modern aspects bring to life other things that may not have been as clear if it were depicted hundreds of years ago.

    Rory Kinnear was fantastic as Hamlet. At first I was skeptical, as I had imagined Hamlet as a younger man (no offense to Kinnear), but when it got started I loved...
