Samantha broke up with Smith because she isn't the relationship type, plain and simple. As much as she loved him, being in a relationship was counter to her very nature. They were there for each other through tough times (his rise to success, her cancer) and then, when things settled down, it was time to move on. Honestly, what did you expect? They'd get married, have kids and move to Connecticut? PLEASE.

It is really beautiful. I think that this series is better than many people expect. I love the fact that cancer is seeing as an illness that does not avoid someone tohave a normal life. And Smith flying back to say he loves her is the most romantic thing I have ever seen.

I get why Samantha and Smith had to break up. If they do a SATC 3, I think it would be cool to Smith in another relationship a serious one but maybe he brings his new girlfriend to meet Sam. I mean they were both really important to eachother, I think it would appropriate for Smith to bring a new girlfriends to meet Sam.

@ELENAYYY I dont know I feel like all theyve made her is the sex addict of the group. I felt like she was more when she ws with him. I understood her need to leave him but I felt like she needed to balance between taking care of herself and taking care of smith instead of just giving up on one altogether. Expecially since iit seemed like most of the things she complained about was just not being promiscuos, instead of California and her friends or job or whatever. Its like sex is all she is.
