Otherwise people will always attach the stigma associated with their previous work to the new stuff they put out. DJ Joey Youngman used to be trash and when he went in a new direction he changed his name to Wolfgang Gartner...and we all know how that has turned out.

If only people knew that Redlight, not long ago used to be called Clipz and produced the most horrible jump up clownstep dnb - they would probably have a totally different opinion of him.

He made some absolute classics earlier on but after a while went on a spree of making absolute rubbish and became the most hated producer on the dnb scene. Fair play to him for transforming his image so much though. Lets hope he doesn't lose it again and ruin the breakbeat scene as well.
